Having seen the huge (unbelievable) reaction to Katie from everyone and a total disregard for anyone else's shortcomings, I wonder whether she's actually a plant?

All of her comments seem too well scripted and she's the only one making barbed comments to the camera (that I can recall).

Her comments aren't well scripted. She appears to have a few generic "brand" insults which she uses on people. The Pinot Grigio comment about Adam when there was more evidence for her drinking than him, and the short skirt not covering her arse comment for Kristina yesterday who I thought was wearing trousers, and whom i've can't especially recall wearing short skirts.

She thinks she's Oscar Wilde, she's more like Oscar the Grouch mixed with Ed the talking horse.

As befits someone who apparently worked with army intelligence she is very controlled and precise - she doesn't fill 30 seconds of time with 15 seconds of umming and ahhing and 15 seconds of actual talk, she allows a few seconds of silence to gather her thoughts and then speaks to the point. I don't think she's scripted, she's just very intelligent and assured - all of which makes me more convinced that she knows what the effect of her pieces to camera will be and she is angling for a media career as the new Anne Robinson, all the venom of the old but with additional skills in silent killing and psychological warfare.

I don't think so - I do think Sir Alan dislikes her and would love to have sacked her last night - but he had no real grounds to - and she clearly has contempt for him too - she is really cocky whenever she is in the boardroom - but appears to be too clever to get sacked ..... so far anyway!

I think sirallan clearly sees she isn't in it for the job and knows that she looks down on him. He tried to call her out on it last night and she got flustered (i thought her head was going to explode it went so red) I think she underestimates sirallan as i think she believes she can pull a past one on him as he's clearly working class and therefore a bit of a thickie.

She would have gone last night if it wasn't for the fact Ghazul had to go as sirallan was on to her from last week at least, especially when she refused to accept that the advert and pitch was crap. Even when he repeatedly called her up on that she only conceded that (to paraphrase) they lost because sirallan believed that the advert didn't have a strong message. No admission of any wrongdoing, because i don't believe she can actually admit to doing anything wrong...

Totally agree with you Dickens. Without fail since the task where they did the gardening and sing-a-grams, (I think it was week three?), there has been at least one "Katie to camera moment" - where she has completely laid into one member of the team - every week. Like "Its Katie Time"!! There's no way that someone interested in getting the Apprentice job would continually create these appalling testimonies week in week out.

Tre also has weekly Tre-isms but you can tell that its natural and not a play to the cameras.

I think Katie has some very strong business skills, but lost the plot the last 2 weeks.

Although is very silly, and has absolutely nothing to do with Katie's abilities at all: she looks like one of the characters from the kids tv show The Riddlers. I don't mean that in a nasty or immature way, I genuinely think it is true. Does anyone else see this?
