Tre has got to win this. Sir Alan likes him because he is just like him - rough round the edges but success will smooth them out. He has been in the winning team consistently. He has to win.

Entertaining but a bit too mouthy

He's too strong willed in my opinion. Sir Alan seems to want someone whom he could mold; Tre has very definite ideas and in a way is too independently minded to be the Apprentice. He'll be his own boss but I can't see him cowering to anyone else, even Sir Alan.

Simon is the most entertaining of all. Tre does not set out to entertain or charm like Simon who is the most attractive personality. But it's not a personality contest.

Tre is a malicious, uncivilised git.

I think he gets on well with Simon and this helps the team. Their team has won quite a few of the last ones IIRC? I could be wrong....

But I don't think he'll be the winner.

I don't think so, but based on overall performance, he's in my top 4, for sure.

That said, I wish Jadine had done a piece to camera last night about it possibly being the time of the month for him.

I think he might be safe next week. In the montage of clips from next weeks show right after Sir Alan said "you're fired" it immediately switched to a clip of Tre's face. I can't imagine the Beeb "spoiling" their own show like that

Picking up on the moulding vomment, think about previous winners. Tim, nice guy, quite competent, easy to mould. Michelle, competent(?) easy to mould (in more ways than one it seems). In both series the loud mouthed brash people (Paul, Saira, Simon, Ruth, Sayed etc etc) all got close but never won.

So does that follow for this one? Is Tre one of the loud mouthed ones who will ultimately fall? Who out of the people left is someone who can be moulded?

I don't mind Tre but he thinks he knows it all. The whole point of being an apprentice is to learn and if he thinks he knows everything then what's the point?

I would suggest that most of the airtime is given to him because he has the most to say (always available for a sounbite).. As entertaining as he is he won't win but will be there till the end.

God forbid I had to employ any of them but if I did, Tre would be at the top of the list.

I was starting to warm to him until last night. He didn't really do much and WHINGED like a teenage girl who'd had her lipgloss confiscated.

He's calmed down a lot but I think Simon will win.

(Does anybody else find something quite sexy about Simon???)

not seen much of the prog, but last night Tre was shown to be much more insightful and focused. I laughed at him at times for being a moody git, BUT overall I came out thinking he was a good candidate.

not impressed by the women overall - I didn't notice Kristina much and the rest seemed poorer candidates than previous series.

question is - does SAS want somebody effective an innovative who is on his wavelength or does he want people who show promise and may kow-tow?

I'd rather have somebody with initative than their tongue down the seat of my trousers.

I think Tre is very competent and sensible but he does have an attitude problem in that he is brash and quite abrasive and has some questionable opinions and prejudices. Having said that, I do like his honesty and I think he is perhaps easier to like in person than his television persona would indicate. I can't think of many bad comments - except Rory's - that the fired candidates have made about him and a few have mentioned that they really liked him. I do think he would be better working for himself though and would not be an ideal apprentice.

Tre just isn't enough of team player. He has some good ideas, but struggles to get others to listen to him. He can be very moody, as shown this week. I don't think he can effectively either manage or be managed.

He produces some of the best one liners though....!
