that sounds like Alan Sugar talking about Arsenal/Spurs.

he wasn't that much more polite about Jurgen Klinsman...

Tre annoys me by trying to have it both ways. All the way through the task he was saying negative things and trying to make it sound like he'd told them this wouldn't work, and that wouldn't work, and they didn't have proper dancers, and rolling his eyes and saying he was the expert and if they all listened to him everything would be great, but because they hadn't listened to him maybe it wouldn't be, and then when they won the task he played the "I told you so" game.

It's true that he said it should be a percentage of the overall profits that went to youth centres etc, but he tried to make out that he was the only one who knew what he was doing. You watch him next week. He'll make negative comments, then contradict himself so that no matter what the outcome, he's sure to have said something on camera that backs up his position. He's playing a very sneaky game. And I know that's the point, but I still don't have to like him for it.

Lohit is my idea of a winner. Think it might be Jadine who goes this week

He's too arrogant and full of his own importance.

He's always got this "I can do that and do it better than anybody else" attitude but has yet to prove it.

He just moans about what everyone else does and blames them for any mistakes but doesn't put any of his own thoughts forward.

The constant effing and blinding gets on my nerves too - you won't last long in business talking to people like that.

Tre has improved over the past few weeks and quietened down a touch since the days of Rory and going into the boardroom. I can see him as a winner but Simon, Kristina or Lohit might have something to say about that.

I really did not like Tre at first but he has really grown on me these last few weeks

At no point could it be said that I like Tre as a person but up till tonight I have been pointing out that he has been effective and focussed (even though much of his work has been pure bullshitting) and it has led to him being on the winning teams and being a strong member of those teams.

Tonight he failed to lead, he failed to organise, he failed to sell and were it not for Jadine's emotional moment he would have failed to progress to the next task.

I disagree. Although he has some very valuable skills, He comes across as far too arrogant.

That said - one thing I noticed from week 1 is that Tre is exceptionally sharp, and is often right on the money with his ideas. In the first show of this series, I remember him being the only person to actually focus on the task and predict the result. He has some fantastic ideas and a great head for business, in my opinion, but he's badly lacking in people skills.

I haven't yet seen tonights episode, unfortunately, so my comments are based on the past 'episodes'.

I just have to say that, as an Asian-British woman, I find that comment utterly ridiculous. Please tell me that you are just trying to be funny or wind people up, because your remark makes no sense at all. Sorry.

I agree. And Jadine did not help herself by allowing her emotions take over in the task and in the boardroom.

She should have argued her emotional problem more. In fact, had she argued it, she would not have lost as it was a checkmate position over her two male counterparts. She could have used that emotion as an argument and won it.

He's a thoroughly obnoxious git, but damn, he's funny, although I'm laughing at him, not with him. He's entertaining tv but I doubt surallun will let him anywhere near his other employees, I doubt anyone would.

Spoiler
Tre makes it to the last 5 before he is fired (week after next).

Once Sralan has marked your card you are unlikely to be a winner.

Tre demonstrated in the last task what many of us already knew. He is an incompetent, self-serving, selfish, foul-mouthed git with a ridiculous evaluation of his self-worth.

He has contempt for others, the other candidates and people in general, he can't organise, he can't problem solve, he can't handle difficult situations or plan or manage, and most of all he is contemptible.

Thank God that he has demonstrated his limitations to everyone, before he was hiding behind the success of the teams he happened to be in despite disrupting them more often than not.

Absolutely spot on, IMHO, yet SAS likes him and saved him knowing all of that...

I love him, he's fantastic entertainment and has a good eye for business I think. I really hope it's him and Katie in the final.

He can't win. This week's episode saying that if he tells enough people he's great then they'll believe he's great has guaranteed that he won't win. There is no way SAS can have anyone working in his organisation who has said that on national TV. They would have absolutely no credibility. I go back to an earlier point I made - the loud entertaining ones (eg Tre/Katie) will be there for as long as possible, but the entertaining ones (Sayed, Ruth, Sayra, Paul, Simon) have never won on previous series.

It's the Christinas or Naomis that stand more of a chance.

Jurgen Klinsman is far more of a gentleman than SAS. I loved it when SAS slated Jurgen which included the retort "I wouldn't use his shirt to wash my car" to which JG is reported to have said "and there's the difference between us, if I had the shirt of someone like me I would auction it and give the money to charity".

Makes you wonder who really should be in the BR, saying "you're fired"! !

What about the article about what Syed has supposedly said then?

"...a long way to go to be like me." Let's hope he never goes that far, eh?

I enjoyed the DS story on Tre...

Quote:
“Ahmed will star in a new Sky One documentary next month which follows his attempts to launch a body-drying product.”

That would be called a "towel".

Tre is good entertainment value, but no way does he deserve to win. He'd be a disaster with his co-workers, especially the women. Although he sometimes exhibits sharpness and business nous, I don't think anyone would want a loose cannon like that working in their organisation.
