Oops!

I sent a txt to my flatmate by mistake calling him a c**t

We're good friends now much better than when we lived together!

I've done it once, don't know how the hell I did it, but it turned out to be the most bizarre coincidence and in the context of my message it could have turned out to be a very big surprise for someone.

I was texting my brother to say "Congratulations Daddy" as he and his wife were going through the adoption process and they'd just heard they'd been matched up with two children.

Anyway...I get a text back saying "Thank you. I'm sorry, but I don't know who the hell you are. How did you know?" So I sent one back saying Oops sorry - wrong number, I was trying to text my brother. He sends one back saying, it's ok - just found out my girlfriend was pregnant this morning and we've told no-one yet so I was a bit surprised to get your message. lol I explained why I was congratulating my brother and we texted each other several times for the rest of that day, with me reassuring him about parenthood and wishing them good luck and him passing on his congratulations and best wishes onto my brother.

It was lovely, but very, very odd. Can you imagine the trauma "Congratulations Daddy" could have caused to anyone else but a man who had just found out his partner was expecting.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Your boss probably slags you off behind your back as well!

I can't remember the last time I sent a text message must be months, if not years

No, never with texts - but i have many a time with emails.

The trouble is, my colleague and i normally send internal emails slagging off another colleague ... and because the annoying one is in my mind - she sometimes gets the email

has anyone got those internal messaging systems in their company? Kind of like MSN but a company one.

One of the lads in our office sent a message to his teamleader (who is female) saying his ex girlfriend was into buttplugs.

Dangerous things those. Especially if you have multiple chat windows open.

I once sent a text saying "Have you heard about Jess? She went home with Steve last night!" and sent it to the girl in question.

Luckily she was a lovely girl who saw the funny side

PMSL Thats awesome

The person I text most if my missus so everytime I send a text I go to her number out of habit. I've sent her so many texts which I meant to sent to my mates arranging to go football and stuff.

Once I recieved a text saying "Hi Steve. How's you and Gemma? Hope you're treating her well. By the way do you still want them dirty pics of me? Love Katie"

I thought 'Omg you bitch asking him how his girl is then offering him pics'

Some people now days just have no respect.

Ive f***ed up a previous relationship a few years ago by sending a text to the wrong person, now I check, double check and triple before I press send out of fear!!!

I send a txt to my g/f which was ment for my mate bragging about how good my g/f was and things we did......

Thats crap she should've been proud she made you happy. And she should've been happy it wasn't a text to another girl anyway.

Last summer, a text that was destined for my lover was accidentally sent to someone else

I immediately switched back to my 6131 which has the facility to cancel texts if you realise your mistake fast enough

I spilt up with my boyfriend on our 2nd anniversary because he sent me a text which was meant for his mate. it was bragging of his latest pull the night before. needless to say, I rang him, asked if he had fun, then dumped him.
