After tonight's results show, I would like to be the first to congratulate young Ben on his astute and sadly accurate observation. Andrew Lloyd Webber appears determined to prove that after all these years, he indeed does not know what he's talking about.

His decision tonight would be hilarious if it weren't so embarrassingly sad. The guy has lost the little credibility he had left after his superiorly talented partner decided to work with other people and he had to resort to this type of show to keep his profile up. As if he needs the money!

Good luck in selling the tickets. Mine and my family's are going back in the morning.

I personally feel that the words:

lost the plot

have never been more appropriate than for ALW right now

Shame you feel like that -

But - when are your tickets for? Would you be willing to sell them to me?

Well the public put Daniel there.

ALW had a choice of two the public seems to have liked least, so let's not pretend that Daniel was ripped from the public will by ALW having a stroke or something.

Yes, as I said before, didn't think much of Ben until last night he rocked. He is one hell of a mover. lol Now that Daniel's gone, I hope Ben or Lewis win.

I've actually had a soft spot for Ben since the 1st show so i'm glad people are starting to like im more now. He has improved everyweek and i hope he continues to do so.

Quite ironic that that quote comes from Ben. I'm not sure what ALW was thinking last night, but if he is working with an Agenda that its paid off in spades for Ben. ALW saved Ben back in the days when he was definatly the weak link prob because he thought it would be easy to ditch him later in the series. Instead, it gave him the opportunity to develop prove his talent and win over the public. He's now the only one left who looks like a credible threat to Lee.

Is the VT on the website or was it the bit before his peformance last week? I hope it doesn't effect his chances with ALW if he is in the bottom 2

How many contestants who have been in the bottom two one week in any talent show have gone on to make the final or even win?

That is supposed to be the point of having a judge's or judges' decision. To ensure that the talented ones who may suffer from voter complacency or just an off day don't fall through the net.

Being in the bottom two on more than one occasion however and particularly two weeks running as in the case of Lewis is a sign that the contestant lacks public support. ALW doesn't appear to have cottoned onto that one though.

Exactly, usually, the week after they are in the bottom 2 contestants get the sympathy vote and stay out of it. The public are obviously really unimpressed with him, why can't ALW see that He's very likely to be in the bottom 2 next week too, will Andrew save him AGAIN?

Ben has also been in the bottom two a number of times

He may and under the circumstances I hope he does. I would hate for Daniel to have gone out to him only for him to go out the following week.

I think ALW would only not save Lewis if he was in the bottom two against the chosen one.

Why is it the point, because you say so? On the show they even say it for you: Andrew saves who he wants to. There's nothing there about saving who you've decided is more talented.

You can call it voter apathy, but that totally sounds like an excuse.

You don't seem to think much of your own theory.

No, 2 out of 3 shows he was though, that showed he was unpopular but ALW atill saved him over seamus, even though seamus was more talented. he has done the same now to daniel, ALW wants a young joseph.

No, not because I say so, but because that is recognised and confirmed by the producers as being the point.

Yes, and if he wants to ensure that his production is a shambolic flop he is going the right way about it.

It's not who I've decided is more talented, it is who is more talented, full stop.

Unlike personal taste, that is something that is not objective.

Well explain to me how contestants who end up in the bottom two one week then go on to win a contest if not because they suffer from voter complacency at some stage in the competition. No one said anything about apathy.
