If it's years for music in terms of the best songs that were released, then 1994, 1989 and 1983 are way ahead of most.
In terms of moments that you always associate with a song, then every person's are going to be different and every year should have its songs. If you have more songs in one particular year, then it's probably because those were 'the best days of your life'. However, for me, there are some powerful memories evoked by certain songs: First Love - Robin Beck My first French kiss, on the dancefloor at a school disco Oasis - D'You Know What I Mean Blasting out of my Walkman as I took my first taxi ride into New York City Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar One amazing holiday in Ibiza with all my boys Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way All our gang singing karaeoke before we went our seperate ways for the first time |
