I was actually there last year at a certain bald headed law student's eviction and I didn't have a great time at all. The "security" people treated you as if you were going to visit someone in prison! (Of course there would be no parallel here! ) Our bags were thoroughly searched, even the most harmless of items were confiscated - I heard someone had tic-tacs taken away (Again, strange coincidence!) and we all know how dangerous tic-tacs can be?!!!

When anyone brought a camera along they were told to dump it by the side of the road - and I quote, "It might be there later." Or you had the "choice" of taking yourself and your camera back home - after travelling for quite a way and queuing for over 2 hours in my case!! We didn't see any of the earlier show, no-one was allowed in at that stage - people only found out who was evicted by phoning their friends back home that were actually watching it on TV!

Standing there and cheering/booing/whatever noise you wanted to make (incidentally we were directed to cheer) for the half an hour of the show was such an anti climax, I personally couldn't see anything, and apart from a 2 second glimpse of Davina (wow ) that was it. Then we were ushered out ten times as fast as we were actually let in and to our horror, the cameras weren't there. Me and my friends were not the only ones to have had our cameras disappear, there must have been hundreds! Surprise surprise no so-called "security" people were around - what show clears "rubbish" before the audience have left?!! What a scam!!!

Take it from me, read all the small print on the back your tickets (it was very small print indeed asking you not to bring cameras) if you feel the need to go and see BB, but for me you actually got more value for money watching it on telly! (And don't expect any sympathy from Endemol if things go wrong for you too! )

Be afraid very afraid - Big Brother is watching YOU!

Thanks for that White Lady. It's good to get the low down on Endemol's own 'room 101' for audience participation. Even worse than I'd previously thought..... Forwarned is forarmed...... maybe....

Thanks for this whitelady. It all sounds so very different from what we imagine it to be when watching the eviction shows on C4.... on the telly it appears to be one huge fun, party-type occasion.
