Oh snippy, you are subtley wicked
I kinda like Craig, have from the start, but when it comes to acting, he isn't a patch on Lee.

I like Craig too - but he is not fit to lick Lee's elbows!

The whole of Joseph is musical not one spoken word so the people who act out in songs are the better ones.

Fair enough, I just assumed there was some spoken stuff from the exercises they've been doing.

don't forget diction is important too...it wont matter that
craig has a scots accent, as it disappears when he sings.
when he sang black or white, all the words were audible.

So far though Ben and Lee have shown very different acting styles. Lee's very small and intense (by small I mean when he's on stage, it seems to get smaller because he really draws you in) but Ben is much more open - he fills the stage and makes you feel more a part of a bigger thing. I think I want to see Ben do a ballard and Lee do a more fun song (like the ones Ben has had) before I decide. Lee's my man but his weak songs have been the more livlier ones, where the emotion isn't so clear and there are quite a few like that in the show. So Ben's got to get serious and Lee's got to loosen up - if that makes sense.

But they are not contestants on a show, so why is their acting ability relevant? they have already played the role

for the role of joseph it is more important to be yourself.
imo they were chosen for their personalities, their voices
and how they can interpret the songs. the acting flows
from them being themselves. hope i'm making sense..
