Problem with Samsung Flat Screen

I own a samsung LE32R41BD and it has suddenly had a tuning fault i believe with it.

I turned it on the other day and i no longer recieved BBC 1 or Sky, (Sky goes through my ariel socket as the tv is upstairs!). I have tried retuning it and it just will not recieve the channels. I have also tried it on different sockets and tried it with the main input without sky and this still doesn't work.

Any ideas on what the fault is as i can recieve the weakest channels which are BBC2, ITV and Channel 4 but not BBC1 and sky which are the strongest. I know its not the arieal or the socket as all the other TV's are ok and i tried another TV on the socket in my room and that works fine so it must be the TV.

Cheers

So what does it do when you retune it?

If you try tuning manually, then tune to say channel 68 (if that's what the Sky box is set to) or channel 51 (if that for example is the channel BBC1 is broadcast on in your area) what do you actually get? Is there just noise, or is the picture there to some extent?

When i retune to the exact frequency i just get som white noise on the image and no sound, and then it goes to a blue screen, (i have it set so it goes to a blue screen if there is no signal). I have tried everything with the tuning that i can get off the menu screen and nothing seems to be working to get these channels back. The only thing i have noticed is that BBC1 and Sky are the first and last frequencies that i get tuned in so i don't know whether this has something that could be linked?

How much would a new tuner be?? Its a freeview tuner as well.

Cheers
