I'm blowed if I know after last night. Do we actually have any solid evidence that Lee is the huge favourite that many of us assume? Just how many votes is Keith getting? Can Lewis pull himself off the bottom rung even if he gives the kind of performance some of us feel he is capable of? How far can what some see as Ben's stage prescence carry him? Why is Craig still there?

Exactly what are the GBP voting for?

Many people do seem to vote on a performance by performance basis. It's not really making a lot of sense in terms of trying to predict the result.

Usually in shows like this it gets leaked who got what percentage of the votes, but not once have we found it out for this show.

I honestly have no idea who will win now, like you said, we have no solid evidence that lee is as popular as we like to believe, for all we know he could have been only a few votes higher than Lewis lastnight.

well i have voted religiously for lee and daniel, i actually dread to think how much i have spent on voting for the both of them.

BUT i have not got a clue who the GBP are voting for, cos this show is obviously not on talent if it was why was Daniel even put in the situation of being in the bottom two

Just looked at the current odds on Paddypower. They have a vested interest in being right. I wonder if they are. I'd guess so- but it most definitely is a guess and I won't be parting with any cash.

you know what good for Ben, If for some insane reason lee does not win this and after last night anything is possible I would like to see Ben win.

I think Ben would be good to be honest, he has proved he has improved in the weeks that have gone by.

People do love to vote for that so that may be why his odds are so good.

That's exactly why Ben and Craig are still there - people love to see a journey and forget that the end result is what matters.

Yeah, I have a similar horrible feeling that Keith might win, especially after Craig goes out and the Scottish vote is no longer split. But I totally agree with Abi, I kind of want it to happen, cause it's all that ALW deserves
I, on the other hand, can spend my money going to see Lee and Daniel in their westend leads
But Ben has definitely been the surprise of the last few weeks, if you'd told me in week 2 that he would be my second favourite for the part I'd never have believed you.

At least I'd feel confident about Keith's singing - in a way I'm more worried about Craig, Ben or Lewis winning.

Lewis could do it............. but it might be better for him to take the opportunity of the show and use it to help him grow and develop. Since we only get a clear idea of what might have been when we see them sing Close Every Door at the end it's hard to tell. Yes Keith can sing but I can't see him carry the show as an actor. Craig hasn't got it in him, though he tries so hard it makes me wish he had. Please, not Ben.

It looks to me very much like a Lee/Keith/Ben final unless Lewis uses this week to break through and show us what he can do. Only one of those has been voted through on sheer all round talent.

I think Lewis could do it, but I just worry about his tuning. He's certainly a better all-rounder than Keith and although he doesn't have much subtlety, Joseph doesn't really require it.

Thanks merry_mead. I had been wondering. That is odd. The bookies don't usually get it as wrong as that. It wasn't Daniels best night and it annoys me that they can ensure that simply through song choice. If people vote on a performance by performance basis that really matters.

He is going to be awesome in a few years. My worry for him, at seventeen, is that he would need to absolutely storm the part if he got it- otherwise it would be a bit of a poisoned chalice for him. I don't want it to come too early and spoil things for him.

He was 3rd favourite after Lee and Keith but the odds are changing fairly frequently. Does anyone else think that last night's decision will cost Lee votes? British public do love an under-dog and always turn on Judges favourites if they think they're being given an easy ride. Everyone seems to be under the impression that last night cleared the way for Lee, but actually Iim beging to think Ben might be the one to really benefit from Daniel's departure.

I confess that I rarely vote - although I have voted for Craig and Ben when it looked as though they were fading. Quite what logic you glean from that is difficult to see I suppose it's illogical and based purely on gut feeling!

I am also very susceptible to voting for who is outstanding on the night - although I'd be unlikely to vote for Lee as I feel he has all bases covered. If I felt so strongly that I would be devastated if Lee left, I guess I'd vote for him, but at this stage I don't feel that strongly.

I would vote for whoever Keith was up against, as I really don't see Keith as Joseph, regardless of how well he performs on the night.

When the VT shows a particular Joseph having a difficult week, if they then perform badly, I do feel sympathy for them, but I don't always vote. Another problem is that I'm not always able to watch live, so whatever I think at 2am is immaterial!

LOL - I know how you feel though - you feel protective of some of them, they seem so young and so enthusiastic!

It's the same with BB for many of us - you just warm to some HMs more than others, and get very irritated when viewers don't see them in the same way

On the whole, most of us (well you and I anyway) manage to remain civil and fair

I think I am probably willing Lewis on more than any other reality contestant I have seen, yet it took until last night before I actually picked the phone up for him. I wonder whether there is a certain kind of person (I suppose I'm hinting young female) who is more likely to vote and those who appeal to them have an inbuilt advantage? Being middle aged and just a tad cynical about the whole process it takes a lot for me to give in.

i havent a clue after last nights show. I was gobsmacked when Daniel left. Mind i think i was more surprised that the public had him in the bottom 2 rather than ALW voting him off. As soon as he was against lewis id a feeling ALW was going to save lewis, afterall a remark on the lines of "I dont know if the public could listen to you for a full 2 hrs" is a pretty strong and also negative statement to make.
Daniel has a fab voice but obviously not what ALW is looking for in his Joseph. I think its kinda like the Weakest Link, ALW will know who he wants for the part already and hes getting rid of the tough competition early on

Im just crossing my fingers its Lee cause apart from Ben whos showing considerable improvements each week I dont think any of the others has got star stage quality for Joseph.

I think age probably does have a lot to do with it, although I find I'm as passionate about some Reality TV as my children are! You wouldn't think that teenage girls would be that interested in a musical based show, although I suppose if they're too young to be out alone on a Saturday night, they watch with their family, and there are some sexy young men in there I guess.

SCD regenerated the Saturday evening family viewing scenario - apart from Robin Hood and Doctor Who which probably appeals to a different kind of viewer I've watched ADWD with my parents who are in their 80s, my kids who are in their 20s, my grandaughter who is 3, on my own (last night) and with my OH who is three years older than me!!! It has different appeal for them all, but none of them is involved enough to vote.

All the Josephs have traits which appeal to different sectors of the viewing public - we can only speak as we find. I guess if it floats your boat, you'll vote
