I was soo gutted on Saturday. Just wanted to reach into the tv and give Daniel a great big hug (and Andrew a wallop!).

Just listening to Evergreen by Will Young. Daniel sang it soo much better.

Cannot believe Andrew didn't save him. His performance in the sing-off of the Les Mis song was incredibly moving.

Oh well, it's their loss. Now Daniel can go on to bigger and better things.

He may know what he wants but it has been shown several times recently that he has lost touch with audiences.

'Maria' was an exception because that show was the first of its kind.

When the voting figures have been eventually published for any of these talent shows, it is evident that there hasn't been one where the eventual finalist, and even winner, hasn't been bottom or second from bottom at one stage or another in the voting. People become complacent about those who stand out a mile from the rest and after a few weeks, decide to save their money. Particularly when, as in this case, 50% of the contestants left were (to put it very kindly) comparatively weak.

No, they don't. Most viewers, particularly those who actually bother to vote, choose their favourite/s very quickly and tend to stick by them.

If a contestant starts off well or has a great performance shortly into the competition, they will stick by them even if they croak like a frog on any week. It's known as "credits in the bank".

By the way just to make it clear that although the Forum banner says Baby Slings & Carriers, the forum subsection is indeed completely devoted to Daniel!! It is probably much easier to have lots of separate posts all in one place, rather than trotting through one big thread.
