im in the middle of getting togethor a home theatre pc. This machine will be in the living room which will have a hdmi connector for output from the pc.

Im looking to connect it to the main living room pc (using hdmi) and also if the mrs to be is watching tv in the living room im looking to hit a switch (2 way box?) to use the computer in the kitchen/dining room lcd screen (yet to be purchased).

the hdmi cable run will be approx 10m i think. So i will be able to use a wireless kb/ and mouse in the dining room while the pc will sit approx 6m away.

is this possible? or any help?
thanks in advance

You can buy 10m HDMI leads, I installed one a few months back (the lead went through a wall, along behind the skirting board in the hall, and back through the wall again) - the length of the lead seemed to have no effect on the picture quality at all.

thanks for your advice.

Im just asking on a computer/hardware forum about dual head dvi's going out to 2 seperate monitors (and will i be able to get hdmi quality from them)

If it is possible i will try and wait to see if i can get dual hdmi (or one hdmi and one dvi output from a graphics card a the very least)
