Basically he's on the BBC One "Breakfast" couch later this morning. Thought some people might appreciate the heads up.

Thanks - it's in the Daniel thread already as well.

As always DANIEL was just a Pure Young Gentleman on BBC Breakfast, he does look fresh and as so many listeners sent messages into say "They will pay to see him in any West End Show"

How about an apology Andrew? no one is Too BIG to admit they got it wrong!

Proud of You DANIEL!

Yeah - wasn't he gracious in defeat and glad to hear that he has some castings already lined up.

Knew he would do really, but it's nice to hear him say so.

Look forward to hearing what he's up to next.

How about an apology Andrew? no one is big enough to admit they go it wrong!

Proud of You DANIEL!”

Just because he is casting for Joseph gave him no right to purposely steal someone's Dream and upset Daniel. I hope that Daniel becomes a BIGGER and more enduring West End Star than the final winner of Joseph.

Oh, I missed it. What else did he say?

He put his points over politely and clearly whilst being as lovely as ever.
Glad he pointed out that if you get lumbered with a pop song there isn't much you can do with it.

I am also pleased that he stressed how upset he was with ALW's totally uncalled for comments-he even encouraged the builder, but dismissed Daniel's obvious talents out of hand.

Hope the phone doesn't stop and he gets what he wants out of it. As has been said previously, Joseph isn't that much of a role and I hope he gets something even better.

They do appear to have been inundated with support for him and I love how they showed the nation that incredible rendition of Close every door in its entirety.

Have any of the other Josephs been on Breakfast?

I watch "Breakfast" regularly and this is the first I recall (though they automatically have the 'fired' "Apprentice" candidates on).

There has been a huge backlash this time. It is not only on here that people have been objecting.

Have the BBC dared to update their comments section yet?

Me too, but wasn't sure. If so that's a very good sign, public backlash or some form of apology maybe.

All in all, a great opportunity for him outside the trappings of ADWD

Thats the question i was wondering, there really has been an outcry that Daniel has gone. I cried like a baby again when they showed his exit song, the emotion on his face just made me break down . But i'm so happy that he seems to have offers already and the beeb seem to have been inundated with support for him

It surprises me no one has started a thread on "BBC TV Points of View" Forum on this subject - I have just done so under the thread "Andrew Lloyd-Webber - Any Dream Will Do"

How rude and nasty was Andrew saying he wondered whether anyone would pay to see him sing for 2 hours!
Daniel did very well to keep his composure! I think Daniel would be great in a Guys and Dolls type musical. I agree that he wasn't perhaps suited to the part of Joseph but I think ALW's comments were wrong and even if he has doubts about him, what a knock to someone's confidence are comments like that - I hope he apologises!

There have been threads on POV covering Dan's unfair treatment.

Here's one.

I mean in a way ALW has done him a huge backhanded favour - because the amount of publicity this has gained ... Zoe was asked about it at the Bafta's ... different forums, including this one of course, are debating the Lord's decision.

Ultimately if Daniel wasn't ALWs Joseph - which it's quite clear he wasn't ... then he has showcased his talents, got a large majority of the public on his side for the nature of his eviction .... and I hope the castings he has lined up come to something great for him.
