Is it too early to start some predictions, air our concerns, choose our underwear for next Sat?

Spoilers are allowed and encouraged on this thread!

I have a problem, nay crisis! We're going out with non-ADWD friends this Sat for dinner (I'm having Steak & Onions obviously ).

I shall, of course, tape the programmes but will be on tenderhooks (or is it tenterhooks?) about who's gone. Anyone know if there's any sort of update I can get texted to me?

I shall have the same prob the following weekend too! Someone could make a fortune offering an update service, couldn't they? Perhaps I'll go on Dragons Den with it!!

For those who have already experienced being forced to go out and watch the show later, is it better to know the result and then watch it or not?

What are your problems, concerns and predictions for next Sat?

(Good job I'm not taking ADWD too seriously eh? )

I prefer watching without knowing the result... I've tried it both ways!

Go out, have fun, then come back and watch in "real time", DO NOT give in to your urge to see the results

I am at a wedding on the final but am sure my fav will be out by then. Reading Daniel's comments has made me more sure that ALW gives them the songs he thinks will showcase their voices or not!!

If Ben is still in well not sure what i will do

I am also going out next week (to see Pirates of the Caribbean) so I will also miss the show.

My personal concern for the show is that I will not enjoy it as much now that Daniel has gone. I am also concerned about Lewis and I hope he is not too nervous and performs well. My prediction is that Craig will go - but hey - who knows?? I wish all the guys Good Luck!

I used to always miss it and watch it off of Virgin Central on another day. I once found out who left before watching it and it sucked cos I didn't enjoy it as much as the times I didn't know who was going. So record it and watch it it's much better than reading who's out.

Was out last week, and watched show as soon as I got home in real time, without knowing the result, definitely the best way to watch it. This week, however, we are in Monaco for the grand prix, do not think I could possibly wait until Monday to watch and find out the result. I think that I am going to have resort to the internet on Saturday night otherwise I will be a nervous wreck and not be able to enjoy the race.

Having just read the latest news on the website, looks like Ben is the one they've stitched up to go this week. There is mention of a ballad with a very high note at the end. I think this is a shame, because I was just getting into his performances. The guy certainly doesn't have the best voice in the competition but he can act Keith, Lewis and Craig off the stage.

Not so much Lee

But Ben has had an easy ride the last few weeks, only getting songs that are upbeat that suit him - he now needs to prove if he can do slow songs. he couldn't when the show started, but he needs to be able to do them to be anywhere near good enough to play a lead role.

I shall take on board the advice to tape and watch and no peeking at the result beforehand.

Thank you for the advice!

Spoiler moment: Rumour has it that Lee is singing Daydream believer this week, so if this is true, is it a Beatles theme, or maybe a Dream theme appropriately enough???

Therefore we could have 'Don't Dream it's over' - Ben perhaps as it has the high notes?

Together in Electric Dreams - Craig

Can't think of anymore as I'm tired

I'm not going out. I went to London last weekend, and the one time I missed the show - my favourite went! If I miss anymore, then Keith and Ben are sure to go, and we'll have a Craig/Lee finale

(When I did miss it, I got my brother to text me. But he didn't because he "didn't want to spoil" my night!)

Oh definitely yes.

Im just worried after Daniels departure last week with a poor song, that something bad will happen to lee. he needs a really good song and as much as i like Daydream Beleiver, im just not sure its good enough.

Oh my im like that now!

Ive stayed in to watch the show most weeks apart from one week when i went out - came back and found out Chris B had gone (My original fave).

Then went out lastweek and Daniel left

So im not going out now incase Lee leaves.

Nothing's going to happen to Lee; he's got this made already.

Surely he has enough points in the bag for intense and romantic ballards therefore all he has to do is show the fun side of his nature, which we have seen in the VT's but not in song yet.

Maybe, i hope.

i know Zoe said she wants lee to lighten up and show a more fun side to his personality this week, he does always seem VERY intense.

I only wish I could be so sure Mambo
I think he will be okay for this week though
*Laurie prays she hasn't cursed her favourite Joseph*
Hopefully the panel will pick up on his versatility. He needed to do something more light hearted, we've had so much intensity, heart break and psychotic anger.
