Ah but that wouldn't be a punishment to him - he would love it.

Lee was a cut above tonight as he always is and deserves to win this - although I still think he is too good for Joseph.

Ben has something about him that engages me. He has a twinkle in his eye and great stage presence. Its just the voice that lets him down.

I think Keith has gone backwards - about two or three weeks in he was really good and he was really starting to grow on me - now he fluctuates between irritating me and boring me. Needs to up his game

Lewis - sorry Lewis fans but I find his facial expresions meaningless and forced plus his singing isn't up to scratch. Not the worst tonight.

That honour goes to Craig for me. Just not his thing this and I am glad he went.

well i guess we all interpret facial expressions differently, and we all express ourselves differently. I think the way he shook his head was him reasurring himself that he's not the worst and thinking positive. He's more expressive than a lot of them, but also maybe immature and shouldn't let it show as easily. But if you think that arrogance then I'm not here to try and change your opinion! If you really think he's "an arrogant little sod" then it doesn't really matter what he does he's not gonna win you over is he!

lee is a hammy actor and an average singer..
only diehard fans will sit through his performance

Daniel, Seamus and Lee would have made a fantastic competition.

There are a lot of us though.

Agree. Tactical decision by ALW. Make sure the final has your winner pitted against two averages, give Keith the role of Benjamin.

Lee just IS Joseph. Looks, charisma, the total package. His only other opposition was Daniel.

Blimey, I hope I haven't jinxed Lee by posting that.

I think it should've been a Ben Lewis bottom 2 and I'm not a 100% sure who I would've lost as they both have very different strengths but I don't like watching Lewis and I didn't like Bens song tonight As well as the fact that Craig really wasn't that bad tonight granted he's still not Joseph but he was better than Lewis and Ben as much as I love watching Ben he did have kinda rough notes tonight

Are they bringing out the 'mothering' instinct in us, perhaps?

Us gals, that is!

I firmly believe that girls are stronger than boys when put under this type of pressure and maybe we're reacting to that subconsciously?

Agree really obvious in the last bit - Lee could be heard over all the other three put together. Made his harmony sound a bit odd. Whoever put him on harmony needs shooting.

there will be a backlash after the dodgy sing-offs to help lee
that's why andrew lloyd webber will want ben in the final

Nah! Men aren't as stoic as us women.

Can you imagine the decibels if they had to give birth?

Notice Ben and Craig didn't follow Lewis and Daniel last week in holding hands when awaiting ALW's decision.

Exactly! I'm sorry Lee fans - I know it must be irritating to keep hearing this - but this whole thing is beginning to look farcical. I think Lee is very good.......but where's the competition??

Mothering Lee is the last thing on my mind I can assure you.

oh I beg to differ - I don't do 'hammy' and I love Lee - I also am loath to spend huge amounts on tickets for shows but would pay happily to see Lee in a West End show.

I'm getting used to it, probably why!! I've been seeing it in lads of his age for the last 20 years - and believe me, I can spot arrogance a mile off - it's a totally different behaviour.

Seems that way, doesn't it!

I have to say, I don't know who you would pit against Lee in the acting stakes out of who's left. None of the rest of them are great. Ben's good at the fun stuff, Keith's good at the young stuff, Lewis is kind of bad at all acting, much as I love him. Lee put in several different performances tonight with very different tones and excelled at fun, thankful and sexy songs. Not to mention last week's incredible sociopathic number. I honestly don't think anyone apart from Seamus could act as well as he can.

Agree with the acting part, he is cheesy but then this is Joseph which I always think of as being a tad cheddar. I think he has one of the best voices though.

I am actually struggling to rate any of them.

Lewis is just dull.
Ben fantastic stage presence but an inconsistent voice.
Keith, just doesn't look the part, to much of a boy and not a man.

I thought Daniel would have been the one but obviously ALW disagreed!!!

It crossed my mind but I'm not a mother so why wouldn't I feel equally sad for whoever loses?

I'm not sure there ever really was any competition tbh.
