Duet and a Trio?
twingle
23-05-2007
Last week we had two trios this week with only 5 boys it must be a duet and a trio.

Ben, Keith and Craig have been at a dirty dancing work shop this week. Could this be the trio?

Which leaves Lewis and Lee going head to head for the duet

Any thoughts?

I would actually love to see them all doing some 'proper' dancing for once, not all this walking around on stage, stopping posing, moving one foot here and there.... some proper dancing PLEASE!!

Naughty - Keith's a child!

Actually I hope they don't put Lee and Keith together. I don't think their voices would compliment each other very well.

How do you know that?

Dirty dancing? Seriously? As in the musical or just generally sexy dancing? Keith's a kid, he doesn't have to dance sexily if he got to be Joseph (Joseph's quite a prude) - he shouldn't be forced to do something he won't have to do for the part and that, I might be wrong here, he's likely to do badly. It just seems a bit icky to me. Maybe I'm being hypocritical, because I don't have the same reaction to Ben, when he is almost as young, but Ben is a good, confident dancer. I think Keith's ability to do dance routines has got to be tested, the sort of stuff he will have to do for Joseph, but not dirty dancing, surely?

Maybe Keith will be great. I hope they all are. I just can't shake the feeling off 'Who are they going to stitch up this week?' It makes me overreact.

Keith's 19? OK, that's all I know, I'll shut up now! Still not keen on the idea though.

See this is what I was saying in the age limit thread Ben is really young and yet with his performances you forget that.

we need to see Ben doing a ballad, more of a grown up song. His last few songs choices made me think ALW was working on Stars in Their Eyes, instead of ADWD!

While I take the point - it's not really his performance that makes me forget how old he is

Why?

Joseph doesn't have to dance, just walk around on stage, stop & pose, move one foot etc. etc!

I think it will be Ben as they have given him a power ballad which he apparently doesn't like and it must be hard singing something you do not like
