Maria goes to work back in the Salon. and is joined by the none-other Candice. And there is no love lost between them two!
Remember Candice was after Nick, and Maria ended up with him.
Thanks moneymaker, but what do you mean??? Did it not work then?? Lets try again! Click >>>here<<< to see what goes on! Oh, and soapfanatic, your spoiler is already in this!
Poor Maria?? You are joking. She is a lazy, bitchy so and so! Well she is now. She used to be lovely. Hate it when soaps do this - eg Phil Mitchell (though she is not as bad as he is!)
Susie Blake was brilliant in Victoria Wood. Good actress!

Yes, quite a turn around for her. I remember once she came on and said something like: "We must apologise to our viewers in the north - it must be awful for them". Classic.
Thanks Zenith, but I realised that when I put it on again! Ta anyway!
I used to like Maria too, but the main reason I don't like Bev being snooty about her is because I hate people who think they're better than everyone else. Sure, she may be of a 'higher class' than Maria but, hey!
By the way did you know that sexy Maria is from a council estate in Salford? (all I'm pointing out is that you wouldn't find anyone as sexy as her in a council estate!) (no offence meant to anyone who lives in a council estate though!
Yerah, her face is a little plump now innit?! Have u noticed the was she does a little sniff when she's talking to someone? Its difificult to explain what I mean, but its what she does!

I agree with you. Is Shelley thick or whaat? Anyone else would have seen that Peter was playing around and being evasive with her. And the sooner Bev slings her hook the better.
Dreary - can u remind me where Shelley came into the programme? I must have missed it but I just seem to recall her working behind the bar with Geena. Did she come from the Flying Horse or the Legion or the Golf Club or something?

That's correct.
When Dougie was a rugby player, Shelly used to be the barmaid where the rugby people used to drink.
I think Maria is a bit of alright - just what the street needs.
As for Shelley, I do like it when she tries to cry ..... maybe she didn't put the art of emotion on her cv when she got her screen test. Keeps me entertained.
It's her moany voice that annoys me, and the ways she drags out her words when she speaks;
Shelley : " Oh, buuut Pe--at--er!!!"
It also really bugged me, when she learned about her sister Sharon being ill, and went on about how close they both were, and blah blah......
Excuse Me???
But this was someone she had never even mentioned before??? In fact no family was ever mentioned before, and now it's all her mum this, and her mum that!!!!!!

Ah yes - that rings a bell now. I think I was staying in the pub just a little too long in those days............
I didn't like Shelley at first, then I warmed to her but this stupid thing with Peter/Lucy/Tracy is really getting on my nerves and I cannot believe that Shelley cannot sense that something has been going on. Oh well, it will all come out in the wash, as they say
Can't wait for Friday's episode when Maria throws a pint at Bev
