ok maybe this is just me....but does anyone think some the apprentices look a lot older than their years...particularly the women...especially katie she is reportedly 31, but looks really in her late 30 or early 40s.

Am i being cynical thinking some of the contestants are telling porkies about their ages?

Possibly it is just the whole stressful situation and make-up that adds on the years.

If they are someone will tell the Sun/Mirror/Star/NOTW probably.

Katie does look old...

But it's hardly "major" news, and the candidates ages are only revealed on the web and don't really feature on the programme.

Yes. I said the same thing about Katie in a different thread earlier in the week. Maybe she smokes and sits out in the sun. Either that or she's been really unlucky with her genes. If she really is only 31 that is.

The same with Jadine. I read today that she is 25. I'd have put her at 34.

Katie and Kristine look old I think. In the guys I don't think they look old really. That Naomi is very attractive and looks quite young though.
Katie's just not nice looking I think which is not her fault really.

My friend was a sunworshipper in her earlier years. She now looks 10 years old than she should, has a permanent brown tinge to her skin but it feels like leather. Its awful.

Sitting in the sun ages skin by around 10 years - so the skin specialists say. A good decade of smoking will do the same.

Katie's face looks more than skin damaged though, she has deep lines that would only be seen in someone much older.
I'm 30 and most of my friends are around that age - and no one has lost their youthful looks like Katie has. Then again, she does have kids I believe and went to Sandhurst...maybe she's been a bit weather beaten.

I've never been a sunworshipper and even though I tan very easily, I'd rather fake it, I don't want wrinkly, weather weary skin.
Last year when aged 26, I got on the subway for a half without even asking! I am tiny though too which I think helps!

If Katie's 31 then I haven't been born yet. I know 40-50 year olds who look younger than her.
Jadine 25? She's certainly a lot younger than Katie, but I thought her daughter looked about 10 or 11 when she was You're Fired.

Jadie is 27. Although she did look a lot longer with her new hairstyle that she did while she was on The Apprentice.

Kristina is 37.

They deliberately style the contestants to look older and more businesslike. I have seen both Ghazelle and Jadine in person and they look a lot younger. Obviously they didn't need to do much of this styling with Katie though.

HMmmmmmmm I was a bit suprised when I heard Katie was only 31 - she looks like she has had a mighty hard paper round. Definately the look of a late 40 year old and her style is well *ahem* leave a lot to be desired - it is actually quiet funny that she thinks she has style.

She also wears far to much Links of London peices. Minimilist dahling? She has the asme ring as me BINNED!!

The only contestant whose age surpises me is Katie, she looks a good 10 years older than quoted.
She certainly doesn't help herself with her style choices; her hair and make-up are straight out of the 80's and her clothes do nothing for her.
She would make an ideal candidate for Nicky Hambleton-Jones and the 10 Years Younger team to see what miracles they can conjure up.

Jadine doesn't look 25. more like 45.

Katie really must have had the whole of Devon as her paper round, if she's only 31.

Jadine looked about 20 years younger when she was on You're Fired on Wednesday - and a lot healthier and happier too. I think the stress of living in that house was getting to her.
