W880i any good?
My T-Mobile contract is due for renewal on Friday and I am looking at getting the W880i. I have had the W800i for 18 months and its the best phone I have ever had by far but its time to upgrade.
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of the W880 in particular the music player quality. Thanks |

Music player quality is good. Camera is ok. The keys are a real bastard though as they are really small and fiddly
I've tiny hands and even I hate them! The phone is very very thin and I'd be worried about the screen cracking or the phone snapping/bending if I leave it in my back pocket. In short, I hate it |

Pretty little phone, my aunt has it. I don't find the keys a problem, but my hands are pretty small. Really nice screen if a bit small, music player needs to be heard through headphones because the speaker is a bit tinny. Lack of a flash on the camera put me off bigtime. Depends how important your camera is to you. The last phone I had was a sony ericsson W810i and I couldn't fault it. Honestly, a fantastic little phone. I would recommend that over the W880 or the W850.

Thanks for the replies, I went ahead and ordered it on 30/05 and it arrived yesterday. I love it already.
MsC your right about the keys being small but I find it easy enough to text. Music sounds very good through the headphones, the speaker is a bit tinny as you say. All in all though its just what I was looking for, small, good looking and all the features you'd expect. |
