I understand the argument you are making just fine, I just don't agree with it. It appears that as you are unable to find any counterarguments to my objections that you don't have much of a leg to stand on.

You've tried to bolster your position by talking about your experience, comparing other posters on this thread to chimpanzees and generally doing everything but providing a strong argument backed up by evidence.

If you don't agree with me, you're hardly going to accept anything that I say. I could have a better discussion about it with the wall.

I couldn't actually care less what think about my views on whether or not Jadine should have been fired.

Do you understand the concept of discussing a topic? It's not necessary to agree to be able to discuss it you know.

First you say I don't undertand what you are arguing (untrue) then you say there's no point in continuing because we disagree. I disagree with you because I think the arguments you have been making are racist and sexist and I'm going to point that out and point out the flaws in what you are arguing. Walls don't normally do that.

I admit not liking jadine in the first couple of episodes, but since the confrontation with SAS she had become a completely changed person, not only to the point where she was communicating her ideas articulately and actively listening (in her second PM task), but to the point where she had matured and in so doing became a real contender (at least to me anyway).
Her emotional outburst was her one achille's heel. lohit and tre touched upon it in the boardroom, though thankfully didn't belabour the point.
To me it showed a substantial measure of self control not to lash out at an obvious sore. She's clever enough to know that if she had tried to save herself she would have forced, tre and lohit, into turning the knife.
Either way there was no guarantee it would've succeeded. Better to choose your method of leaving than have it foist upon you.

I don't know whether tre's boardroom feint was carefully manipulated on his part or a genuine attempt to take his share of the blame (I favour the latter) but I feel he too came away with some dignity. He was neutral throughout the boardroom ordeal. The only time he strayed from this position was to deflect excessive criticism (and that from SAS no less).

I have been away for a few days and so catching up on the threads and this one has me in stitches.

KC I know EXACTLY what you meant by your statement. It was neither racist nor sexist. But it seems others are naive to that fact - do people not understand what positive descrimination is?? Also love your zoo analogy.
