It would seem having read through lots of threads that most of the Josephs read D S.

As we are down to the last five lets have lots of best wishes for all the Josephs no matter who are favourites are !

They all deserve lots of encouragement and all of them have done extremely well to get this far.

Everyone has their own views but it would be nice for them all to get a pat on the back - instead of having their voices/characters ripped to shreds and their confidence dented.

Dear Joseph's, If indeed you do read this, then you should salute on Saturday and then we'll know and then we'll be nice and vote for you!

I would be suprised if they did as 1. i don't see them having access to the internet, the marias didn't, and 2. i would have thought they would be to busy rehearsing. I am sure people on this forum would like to believe that the contestants read this, but if any do, i imagine its prob the ones who have been voted out of the comp.

Well we do know that Daniel was aware of the conversations we had about him, as his brother came on ditigal spy and told us. There were, ahem, red faces all round .

Richard even gave us the heads up about Daniel singing Maggie May before the show but had his knuckles rapped when he tried to give us hints about Evergreen, (Sorry again Richard )

Last night Daniel posted a message for the kittens here on DS which made us all purr with delight

Um, this is the internet. How can you be sure that poster x (called, say, 'Daniel's brother') is in fact Daniel's brother?

Or that a poster called, say, 'Daniel Boys' is in fact Daniel Boys?

We could quite easily do a homage to Spartacus, and have a thread which runs:

'I'm Daniel Boys'.
'I'm Daniel Boys'
'Im Daniel Boys'.



If you ever get involved in contact with people you 'meet' on the internet, in forums like this for example, please, please tell me that you take a far more cynical and critical attitude towards who they might be.

Do a google for "Aaron Sorkin" and "TWoP" or "Mighty Big TV". I've become very wary over the years as to who is reading various message boards/fora. Plenty people do and they also post. I've seen it in many fandoms.

I don't deny that 'people in the news' can and do post their stories on the internet, including on messageboards and other fora.

However, I would still urge people to be sceptical - especially when the 'people in the news' are posting on fora which have a 'fan' aspect to them, because the posters on that forum may be more vulnerable to cyber-deception.

I understand where you are coming from we were skeptical at first and yes you should be cautious of cyber-deception but we had/have hard evidence that they are who they said they are.

Good luck boys! You have all done brilliantly to get this far and I am sure you have all lifted your profile no matter what happens and you have certainly lifted Saturday night tv viewing! - I do have my favourite (Lee) but have enjoyed watching everyone's perfomances and look forward to the final. Although I don't see all of you as Joseph, there isn't one of you that I wouldn't be happy to pay to see play a part for which you are casted. I do hope this programme acts as a ladder to further all of your careers and that you make some good friends from this experience.

I take your point, and also think that the Josephs won't have much time to surf, but think it quite likely that friends/relatives/ girlfriends/boyfriends etc check out the forums on the Joseph's behalf and pass on what is being said - we know that they have contact. That's what I would do if I were close to a contestant.
