Does anyone out there have the above TV? I bought one recently as it was big, cheap and coped with FULL HD (1080P) I am very pleased as it was less than half the price of a Sony LCD and produces excellent images. Its really a stopgap until LED TVs come along, but I can fully recommend. It looks great on DVDs and on SKY HD especially.
Anyone want to compare notes?

Tried search and just got my post!!!
LED TVs have been announced by Philips recently up to about 26 inches I think . they are supposed to be brighter, sharper and cheaper to make. I expect initially they will be very expensive but as ever reducing over time and bigger sizes being available.
The Tevion I have has a 47 inch Samsung panel and is labelled Siemens on the back . I have just watched some live cricket off Sky HD and it is stunning..seems like a good buy so far..fingers crossed.

Thanks I eventually found the thread after removing my "stupid "hat. So many conflicting opinions about the set so I will make my own judgement.
I have noticed black areas are not so detailed on some movies but there is much more variation in quality of HD programmes (obviously some are just upconverted SD stuff) for me to worry about slight imperfections on my set. On the grounds that some pictures from SKY HD look mind blowingly good I am so pleased I didnt fork out £2500 for a Sony 46 inch LCD.
Another negative is that I have a blocking problem on the Freeview tuner so if Tevion dont fix it I could spend some of the money I saved on a freestanding Freeview box. As I have Sky HD I dont really need the Freeview tuner anyway so problem solved.
Anyone else out there had similar experiences??
