If I were a Lee fan, I would be praying though that somebody else has a great night and a fantastic performance - it doesn't do him any good if it looks as if he won because ALW got rid of all the serious competition.

Agree that Ben will go if he gets in the last two, but I will be really, really sad if he does. I agree with LaurieMarlow he's a great performer, such energy, and I think Craig and Ben deserve huge credit for having improved so much. I may be in a tiny minority on here but I really like both of them.”

it will all be fine - as long as Lee doesn't end up in a sing off with Lewis - then what would ALW do? Doesn't bear thinking about really! Daydream Believer is a sweet song but I wouldn't have said a Lee song - not at this stage - but he could well surpirse me and I hope he does. Getting nervous now

I'm scared for Lee but I still think the role should be his. No offence to the others but theres no way the rest of them could hold out for 2 hours singing and acting it out.
Ben is one of my faves he has the stage presence but his voice isn't ready.
Lewis has the voice and the look but he's not got good enough stage presence yet.
Keith isn't someone you could be attracted to and his stage presence isn't up to it yet. He has an awesome voice though.
Craig who I love as he seems a nice enough guy is improving every week but I don't think his improvements enough for the show this year. He could probably be Joseph next year.

Anyway after that I'll just say I haven't a clue who'll go as I cursed Daniel and have probably cursed Lee enough in this post by saying I think he should get the role

I think it's Lewis' turn to go this week You just wouldn't believe how nervous I am.

I think it will be him and Ben in the sing off (the coat curse! Yes, I'm still going on about that ) and ALW will change sides and go for Ben, as he has made the bigger noticable change out of him and Lewis.

They will probably be tears tonight in my household

I still don't trust old rubber face where Ben is concerned. I am sure if he is in the sing off he will be out the door. I have to spend some serious money tongiht to keep him out of the sing off

I made a vow with myself that I'm not voting for Lewis until the semi's (or whenever it is that it's down to public votes alone) - if he gets that far- one which I am now finding extremely hard to keep.

I'd be careful if I were you with the voting though twingle. I understand you want to save Ben, but if reports of people's experiences on here are anything to go by, there were problems with the lines last week, especially Daniel's. (Fishy?). I so hope there are no problems with the lines this week - for anyone.

Don't worry. ALW wouldn't dare save Lewis over Lee - he would be lynched !

I'm afraid I can't listen to that song without remembering the version done by the club singer on Only Fools And Horses

Definitely not a song for anyone who rolls their 'R's

I don't think he would anyway, to be honest. He's always liked Lee more than Daniel and he wasn't exactly overwhelming in his praise of Lewis last week.

Lynched by those who said it was wrong to criticize ALW last week over Danell??

No I think we can say Andrew will keep Lee in, but the semi-finals and the final get closer, when the Public decide and it is all above board, perhaps Lee may go!

Tonight it should really be Craig, he has improved so much, but he is not ready at all for the West End and has a lot of work to do, he needs perhaps to work in London and get some theatre experience.

That is if you believe it is all 'above-board'. I really believe it will be Lee. ALW is not going to chance some inexperienced kid to take on 8 shows a week. At best one of them, possibly Ben (depending on how well he sings tonight) may be given a role in the show and may have the chance to cover 2 of the performances per week.

This week will be the end for Lewis I think.

Here are the lyrics. He's going to need all his skill and subtlety to get the most out of this one. It is quite catchy though.

No - but contestants like ben get votes for reasons other than talent from the teen group, who prob haven't seen only fools and horses.

Think you could be right! it is a terrible song! ALW certainly doesn;t seem to like the older and most talented contestants does he! he got rid of seamus, then daniel, now seems like hes gunning for lee to go!

I really hope you are wrong. I have tickets for 25th July. I bought them, taking pot luck that either Lee or Daniel would win the competition. If Lee is out I will probably sell my tickets.

It's an old Monkees song. If you are very old like me you can remember it.

Let's be honest, everybody on these programmes gets votes for 'reasons other than talent'. Lee's a great singer but if he wasn't also gorgeous I'm not sure everyone would be quite so excited about him. And also, speaking as a non-teenager, it's not just teenagers who get crushes. I've followed loads of these phone in shows and older women (like me) are more obsessive and can afford the phone bill. (I'm someone who couldn't get to sleep last Saturday night I was so cross and tearful.)

I think 'Crying' is a pig of a song - it's the same word over and over, it's whining, and it's one of those songs that belongs to one voice, Orbison, a comparison any of these boys would find tough.

I agree and for that reason Ben may end up being in the bottom two tonight. ALW has done him no favours with this songchoice whatsoever. I wonder if Ben was creeping up in the phone vote totals?

I think if you had to choose a song that is going to find Ben out you couldn't do a lot better.

If my recent telephone bill is anything to go by and other Lee fans are as I am, I'm sure he will be safe.

Zoe in her podcast talked of the challange for Lee to relax and draw the audience into a lighter, less intense song - which I'm sure hell do amazingly as usual. Years of "Joseph" on tour has been his training and as a show it's not that heavyweight. His pre-vid will probably highlight this challange, so that the GBP (and the pannel) will be wise to it. After Danial last week I'm sure there won't be any voting apathy. AWL may have opinions and favourates but I'm sure he has some idea of the public mood and is astute enought to recognise "bankability" when he sees it.

So I'm hopeful of more Lee feasts to come...
