Ah no, you needn't worry - if Lee doesn't win, we'll all be off buying our mourning clothes

I agree that most of the people voting are not actually 'fans', just ordinary viewers. That's why I always think that the result is unpredictable.

Oh yeh remember the bun fights of Pop idol 1 and 2 . Was more fun that coronations street's and eastenders best scripts put together

One good thing about vhaving an underdog as your favourite there is no hard feelings when they go out but just gratefulness they have got so far and if he wins well champagne corks will be flying

Ooh, I do hope no bun fights. I like buns but am a bit to wimpy to want a fight!

Off-topic, am I the only person to think of the guys off 'Scrubs' singing 'Underdog' every time I see the title of this thread? *slinks off, embarrassed*

Isn't it funny how well those underdogs have done

Yes Lee rightly won the West End part of Jospeh.

There is Craig shining as Mobile Joseph and Ben appearing from this Thursday as link larkin in Hairspray on the West End stage.

Lewis taking over Lee's part when on holiday

Keith the narrator on the tour and Chris understudying him and Craig as well as playing the part of Benjamin

Yep those underdogs have done well

Can I just say, as an unrepentant LoveLee , I'm so glad that the other guys are doing well. It's great for them and for their fans - Go go go Josephs!

I agree with you Twingle, those underdogs have done well

Don't forget that as well as covering Lee's holiday, Lewis is touring right now as a leading man in his own right. Also, we musn't forget Chris Crosby is touring in Half a Sixpence, so at least six of the underdogs have careers in MT already

Don't forget Daniel who has been in 'Sweeney Todd' and now has a lead in 'I love you, because'

I didn't forget Daniel in fact I saw him ILYB and was fantastic but I don't think he was ever an underdog - A shock exit but never an underdog

Sorry I forgot Daniel

Though agree he wasn't really an underdog, ALW knew who he wanted from day one

Read an interesting article in 'First Act' which is an independent London Theatre Guide .. where Daniel says that the BBC wanted to say that he was a 'Cement Administrator' and not say anything about his past musical theatre history, and that Daniel wasn't happy about that and just wanted to say that he was already an 'actor'. Apparently it was then 'leaked' that Daniel had been in other shows, so that's when the Beeb did that week when Daniel was saying about the previous theatre work he had done. This all stemed from the fact that the Beeb had implied Connie Fisher had not got any experience but in fact had just got a First Class Honours from the Mountview Academy. It's all in the back story and the editing isn't it

Agree ALW knew who he wanted ... Daniel wasn't it. I'm glad he's not Joseph, as he was fabulous in ILYB.

No, too young. ALW is grooming him to be a leading man, hence taking over from Lee whilst on numerous holidays. He couldn't risk anyone without some MT experience in a leading role, and Lee has been in enough of his and BK's productions to warrant his promotion. It was obvious he didn't want Daniel in the role from early on.
