One of the worst singers I've ever heard on a show like this and an arrogant so and so with it.
How is Ben still in this show.

completly the right decision tonight. ALW is right when you are acting a character you can't just suddently burst into a grin and play to the audience, which was what Craig did.
His Close Everydoor to me was the weakest to date too.

Hmmmm yes - becuase being cute means you can sing! not
Haven't really noticed the arrogance so much but definitely the vocals let him down. I think he expected to go tonight and what we are seeing as arrogance is his way of coping with his potential disappointment. Don't rate his dancing much either but he does stand out in the group numbers. Feel that Craig was much better tonight, but Ben is ALW's new Helena!

he can sing perfectly well enough for this role and his acting and dancing are better than at least two of the remaining boys.

please don't say that. I like Ben, but vocally he is nowhere near Helena's standard.
Ben for me has a much stronger voice than Craig and is a much better actor. I very rarely vote in these shows but the last few weeks i've been voting for Ben.
I have no idea how he is still in. Definately the weakest singer left imo and to me he seems arrogant - did anyone else notice him shaking his head when 2 judges said he wasn't Joseph...?
ALW wants to eliminate as much competiton as possible for Lee so that he can guarantee him winning and by saving Ben he's done that. Who can come close to Lee now out of the boys that are left? It's the reason he got rid of Daniel too.

No but seeing as he is already being portrayed as arrogant after the comment about ALW not knowing what he was talking about then you would think he would be trying not to appear any more so....he is always sure they are wrong and he is right...
As I said in another thread, I'd like to add my voice to those who think Ben is arrogant and cocky. His attitude belongs in the football terraces, not in the arts. His looks are also extremely bland - he just looks quite common and not outstanding at all. He would never be a West End lead in a million years in my book. Sorry, but looks DO count in the theatre and that's that. I have never been able to see what the attraction is with Ben. There is nothing remarkable about him at all; not his looks, not his acting and not his singing

No, not Ben. However, a good potentially professional performer worthy of the title would of course have listened and taken the criticism on board the same as all the others have, but not Ben, oh no....
ALW won't want to work with him I'm sure, he'd be too much trouble always thinking he knew best.

And I certainly wouldn't pay to go and see him in the west end. I have seen the theatre production loads oftimes but I wouldn't go to see him as the lead.

No - think thats wrong, craig was never gonna win. but, think Ben should have gone instead of craig this week as his performance was painful.

Sorry, I disagree. I actually thought it was the best so far.
He's certainly a lucky boy still to be there. He didn't sing well tonight, and though his singing has certainly improved, his voice is quite weak and lacking in charisma. And don't even get me started on his attitude...

I agree, Craig was never going to win but, thinking of who was left he could have gone to the final. The winner was always gong to be Lee.

how? it was so poppy and whiney with too many annoying trills and closing up of the throat, like crappy r n b singers. It was not a musical theatre performance, Craig is not a musical theatre performer.

If you thought that then I would hate to hear Ben singing, as a musical lover I can't say that I have ever noticed if the lead actor smled in the wrong part but I'm damn sure I would jnow if he hit as many bum notes as Ben.
Singinging should come first , acting second, you can learn how to act with time but if you can't sing well, you;ll never sing well
