Will Any Of The Final 12 Be Cast As Brothers In The Show?

Just thinking about Joseph as a show - obviously there are 11 other brothers roles which need to be filled. Keith seems to me to be a brilliant Benjamin, the younger brother. Do you reckon they will offer any of the final 12 roles in the show - and if so, who?

I think someone said the other parts have already been cast.

In my opinion, despite being a diehard Daniel Boys fan, I think Keith could easily take the leading role..he has a very nice voice and bouncy stage presence.

Daniel should have had it just the same. In that duet they did tonight with Jay Grogan (or whatever his name is) I realised more fully why I infintely prefer Daniel to Lee.

I wish they would be cast in other roles. I also hope that they don't stick with the *8 performances a week*, as we saw what happened with Connie. They should cast the main Joseph, and also the runner-up should perform at least 2 shows a week, plus be stand-by for illness.

I personally don't see how anyone could take Keith seriously as Joseph. Too young, too inexperienced, and not a great actor IMO.

Interesting what you say about Daniel and Lee. I was lucky enough to go the show a couple of weeks ago (The week Daniel sang Maggie May) and although he was my favourite up until that point, I was stunned by how little stage presence Daniel had. A real disappointment. Lee however, was mesmorising. Both me and my mate, who performs in the West-End were really disappointed by Daniel and expected much more from him.

I haven't seen them live, but that definitely is how it came across to me on TV.

I too think they've prob been cast but maybe there's a few spaces left and that's why they suggested last night to the 'also-rans' that they could be Lee's backing singers.

And ALW got his answer didn't he? I think they'd rather cover their willies* in Fanta and stick them in a wasps nest!

*Am I allowed to say this?

That doesn't mean that it won't include some from the show

If you've ever watched the film "Fame" (I think it was that film anyway), it was made perfectly clear that auditions are an accademic exercise and the seldom decide who gets the part. It will have been decided weeks ago who will win, I should think, and the others (including those remaining) may by now have been cast in parts they weren't even aware of
