I've liked Lee all the way through, but now I'm liking Ben as much especially when he's dancing - what a mover!

I love Keith's voice but little else and as for Lewis, I can't understand how he's still there.

LEE! LEE! LEE!

Keith might have a voice but he is a little kid and pretty ugly can't see him holding an audience's attention for 2 hours
Lewis is even worse he reminds me of a thunderbird puppet

Ben is good but facially he looks in pain or sulky. Needs more experience

Lee then Lewis, but only 'cos I feel sorry for Lewis, he can't act but they're so mean to him and he's only young.

To be honest I don't see any of them as Joseph. This has always been my favourite west end show, and I was dying to go and see this, but I don't really think I will now. DOn't get me wrong, Lee is fantastic, but he would be more suited to a darker role. Joseph is emotional and serious in parts, but it is also a comedy too and I don't really think he would be suited to that.

The others just completely lack experience, especially Ben, who needs to go the gym to raise his fitness levels if he has any hops of ever being a leading man in a west end show. He is always so breathless. Start running man! Try some breathing techniques.

I understand about Lee being 'the obvious choice' (although some people thought that about Daniel and look what happened). I usually support the underdog but I just can't in this case as the others don't measure up.

Agreed - if ALW (mistakenly) thinks that we wouldn't watch Daniel for 2 hours (the fool) then what on earth makes him think anyone would want to watch Keith for 2 hours ... I thought his performances on Saturday were cringeworthy. Okay, he can sing, but the rest of the package certainly isn't there.

Also I have been thinking about Lewis' performance. He sang really nicely in 'Hero' but lacked any 'spark' ... but then showed real spark in the group number a bit later.

Lewis, for goodness sake, show us that spark in your solo performance ....

Ben, has that spark - but can't sing as well. But then Joseph doesn't sing much .... Close Every Door is the biggie ... not much else that is vocally challenging.

If Lee doesn't get Joseph - will he be auditioning for the same roles as Daniel?

Lee - head and shoulders above the others.

Keith is very good and imo Lewis is underestimated.

Haven't liked Ben from the beginning - just don't.

Probably not likely - they are both very different types of performers.

I've just been watching Daniel in the War of the Worlds DVD - he understudied all the main roles last year and you get to see him standing in for Russell Watson - and he was amazing (better than Russell in all honesty). Actually I couldn't have seen Lee doing that sort of role ... but then I think Lee would be better in the sort of thing he has already been understudying ... Phantom, Miss Saigon. He's more your classic leading man.

I still think he'll probably get the Joseph role though.

Might be better for Daniel at this crucial time for him if Lee is Joseph though.

I don't think so - they've always done different stuff in the past - no reason to assume that it won't continue that way.

And if they do go up for the same lead roles .... it won't be up to the public to decide !!

For me there is only one name in the frame:

LEE!!!!

I like Keith's voice - but he doesnt have enough performance skills yet.

Lewis and Ben do nothing for me.

Lee then Keith - Don't rate the other two at all but if push came to shove would say Lewis was marginally better then Ben.

Lee from the beginning for me. I've had a couple of others that I liked too along the way, but they've all gone now!

Lee stands out a mile from the other 3 left for me now, which is quite worryiing cos I very rarely pick the winner in these kind of shows.

Lee is simply the best singer and actor.

Ben is my second choice, he seems to have far more stage presence than either Keith or Lewis.
