It won't make a ha'pence worth of difference anyway. Lee will win because he is outstandingly talented and in a completely different class to the others. He didn't need an extra song to show everyone that - it is blatently obvious.

Irrespective of who it was who won last nights competition with Josh, or who wins the contest outright, or who you or I think is most deserving of winning - letting one contestant get the chance to sing more songs to the viewing public was unfair in a talent competition which is decided by a viewing public. Your opinion is that he is the best Joseph anyway - many will agree with you. Many will not - but all that is irrelevent to the point that is being discussed.

There is a difference between a sing-off at the end of the voting, for a judge to decide who is getting kicked off or not - and a contestent getting an extra song to perform compared to everyone else before voting takes place. Theres always a skate-off in dancing on ice - but I never saw Kieron getting an extra performance in against Clare before voting commenced. The same goes for all the other competitions too, as I´m sure youŕe aware

Anyway, in response to me saying its unfair to have some contestants performing more than others in a talent contest, you´ve gone from talking about it being completely fair because Josh chose them, to then saying Lee is going to win anyway, to now talking about sing-offs (as if its comparable to a contestent being given an extra performance before voting).....so you either disagree with my point that its unfair for contestants to get more chances to perform than others before voting takes place in a talent contest decided by the public - or you want to ignore the point by pointing to other things that are not related. Either way, I have to go to bed

I do think it was a bit unfair though. I said the same when Siobhan got an extra chance in Maria and I would have said it if any of the other Josephs had been picked.

Talented, I agree. His duet was outstanding last night. What a lucky man. To sing with JG, and to see the 'backing singers' tucked away behind the on-stage musicians ! An absolute gift. I have to say that imo Keith's voice would have been even better for that song. The tender eye to eye contact at the end would have suited a younger man, perhaps singing to a mentor. And they would have probably brought the house down, with the pure vocal power of Keith. Who knows, maybe JG was scared of being outsung lol

Lee is in a different class to the others ? Well, he went to acting classes a lot earlier than the others did and has more experience, and I do assume by 'class' that's what you are implying ? He's older, he's trained, he's tread the boards, he has the experience of actually being in Joseph. If he wasn't better than them, then something would be quite wrong wouldn't it? JG should have been solo and all of them backing singers. They helped Lee on one hand with a happy song for a change and then they alienate viewers, such as I, into thinking this is becoming laughably biased by giving him the trump card. I know its not Lees fault he was selected. It was unfair that it was a one man glory moment, only available to one out of five,

And the story of Lees dear old nan. Bless her. What was that in aid of then. Made me feel sad too Sympathy votes? For Lee? Surely I am being paranoid. Or maybe ADWD are the paranoid ones and are covering every angle.

Keith is a great talent for his age, and in a few years I think he'll be capable of holding a West End stage... but right now, with his incredibly youthful looks and inexperience, I just don't see him as Act II Joseph at all.

For what it's worth I don't think Keith acted like a spoiled brat at all I think he just seemed like a really disappointed young guy. If you get a chance tell him about all the nice things that people say about him to cheer him up. My daughter wants to see him play Joseph

Lee was always my joint favourite with Daniel - and now is my sole favourite; Keith is now second - and no I don't see him as a spoilt brat at all. Confident yes but at his age he should be confident, he should believe that he can do anything he wants to do and be anyone he wants to be. Right now he wants Joseph and the West End and although I won't be voting for him (unless, God forbid Lee doesn't make the final) I'm happy to say good luck.

As for Lee having an unfair advantage because some of his most serious rivals have gone - remember ALW wouldn't have had the opportunity to send them home if the public hadn't voted them into the bottom two.

Not everyone buys into Lee though, I know I don't. It isn't because he doesn't have talent, but because he leaves me totally uninvolved when he performs.

His perfomances, for me at least, all seem so calculating, studied and a bit too polished. I know you would probably call that professionalism, but I've watched experienced singers who at the same time also manage to instill some warmth into their performances

I agree Josh is a star in his own right..he chose ..I dont think his strings were being pulled towards Lee.
Any one of them who got picked... the others would have been jealous .Ermm as for Keith from my recollections Most weeks It has been a love fest for Keith..he has never been called Rubbishy

If the BBC are trying to edit Keith negatively because ALW is worried that he is doing so well with the public vote, then it had no effect on me. He seems to be a really well-balanced young man who has a fantastic voice, one of the best I've heard in a long time.
On Saturday, I just saw a young lad who was obviously very disappointed to miss out on the opportunity to sing with someone he admires so much, and maybe a bit puzzled too because, judging from the clip of his singing, he would have performed that song better than any of the others. Maybe Josh (or ALW) really thought that Lee's voice would gel better in the duet, or maybe (as some have suggested) they thought Keith would sound too good!

If you read this, Keith's dad, please tell him how much he is admired. He is undoubtedly the best singer in the show, the only thing standing between him and a leading role at this moment in time is his lack of experience - but that will soon come, and then there will be no stopping him! I would definitely buy a ticket for anything he appears in in the future

Then he's delusional if he thinks he's the best singer. Daniel could outsing and outact Keith. We are wondering why Keith is still there as he has no charisma and is not great looking. Keith should be thankful to have been the backing singer for JG.

As I said above, I really think Keith was just disappointed not to have the chance to sing with his idol. He was so obviously excited when Josh came in, so I think he was just generally gutted.

(And no, I don't think Keith's the best singer, actor, etc, but he does have a gorgeous voice! )

Its not a question of critisisng Joshs choice though - that was his opinion and thats fair enough. The unfair aspect is allowing one contestent to get more chances to perform than the others (regardless of who was picked). Its the voting public who decides on who wins, so I think the least the programme can do is put them out on a level playing field. Would people think it was fair if this continued every week (with one of the panel of judges hearing them privately and then deciding who they think merits an extra song on the show?)

As I said, we all know that bias sneaks in at a lot of levels, due to judges comments and how the editing of the boys comments are made. But we can´t do much about that. Asking for the boys to all get the same amount of time to perform is not asking for much - and should be a basic requirement as far as I´m concerned.

Am I right in thinking that Lee and Keith are the only two Josephs who have never been in the bottom two? People are voting for him consistently - even Daniel, who seemed to have a much more vocal fanbase, couldn't get the votes when it mattered!
No wonder we're starting to see a bit of negative spin. Methinks ALW is starting to worry about Keith's popularity.

On several occasions we heard keith say that he has not shown the full potential of his voice.
What does he mean? Does he think he did not have the right songs? Would he like to show his range (in practices shown last saterday he shows a very high note)? Is it not up to him to show everything he's got and shouldn't it be time by now to show it all then?
I find it a strange remark by him.

He is an operatic wonder waiting to burst.
The songs can only show us certain sides to peoples vocals, and if Keith gets a massive showtune you'll know why he's been so far disappointed with the songs.
He's a slender guy with a powerhouse of a voice and all he needs is that one showtune like Craig's This Is The Moment to show you what all the fuss is about. Awesome absolutely awesome. I struggled with Keith. His vocal control was incredible from night one. The actual roundness of tone wasn't there. But now, when you compare and see how he is now, he has improved tremendously. So young, 19. Ready for ALW to nurture and mould into the new style Joseph role. And when he belts out a tune, he can easliy sound like an older man. He does already. Amazing voice.

JB sees his potential. He says he can do the best ballads in that competition and I agree. Joseph's songs are mainly ballads, so now that some of Craigs voters may have sidled over to Keith, he may well be in that final. He deserves to be there too
