What does he mean? Does he think he did not have the right songs? Would he like to show his range (in practices shown last saterday he shows a very high note)? Is it not up to him to show everything he's got and shouldn't it be time by now to show it all then?
I find it a strange remark by him.”

Keith is missing the point a bit here. Everyone knows that he has a big voice, that is absolutely not in dispute. Andrew has already said that this is not a singing contest. What Keith has yet to prove is that he has the stage presence and acting ability to carry off the role. So if I were Andrew, I would be concentrating on giving Keith songs that require him to act a bit more than he has done previously.

Keith wants to show off his voice, but we need him to show us that he has more to offer than just that.

I agree - we all know he can sing - as do the panel and ALW, its the other required talents that are in doubt, so i imagine they are giving songs that they hope will show if he has the acting skills and ability to command a stage.

For me, Keith would make a worthy Finalist but not the Winner. All along I've wanted him to get through each week and I still do.

From all the exposure he has gained from appearing on this series I really hope that he will be presented with the opportunity afterwards to hone his acting and performance skills. His day will come, but maybe not just yet.

He does deserve to be in the Final as far as I'm concerned though.

So this week and next I think Keith will be shown as petulant, Lewis as a big baby and Ben as moody while Lee will get shown in as best a light as possible. To be honest I think Keith while I like his voice just seems so young to be Joseph and that Lee is the only real contender and would be a worthy winner but when the edits start portraying people as goodies and baddies you never know if the winner wins because of edits or because of their talent. Shame it happens really...”

Whilst I do agree that clever editing can make a big difference; if you're very guarded with yourself and present a professional image 24/7 then there's not a lot they can do to twist it.

Lee is the only one coming across as treating it like a long job interview (which it is). Whilst his dedication to the cause may make some nauseous, it really shows how he wants it just a little bit more than the others.

When they went into Lee's bedroom and took the mick out of his onions, Jase Donovan CD, Body for Life book, it just backfired and made the other boys look a little silly. (Well done Craig here for not joining in.)

Whereas (mentioning no names) crying, shouting Nana, criticising others singing, looking sulky, messing about, running to Mummy, generally being petulant is never going to edit particularly positively.

The Joseph's must act like they're on Big Brother if they want to look good. (Personally I wish the house was - I'd be glued! I hate BB though.)

Yes clever editing can swing audiences - and without question there are times when the results paint a very negative picture - often deliberately I feel.

If it's Lewis you're talking about - remember he is only 17. He's very talented, but perhaps a bit vulnerable; something that I've no doubt experience and maturity will resolve.

Keith too is young - and it must be very difficult to be under observation 24/7. To me he comes across as confident, not cocky and there's nothing wrong with that.

Yes Lee is professional, he's my particular favourite but I readily acknowledge that he is older and more experienced than the others.
