Having seen The Apprentice LA (season 6) they did play around with the format a bit to try and make it 'more entertaining'.

Basically the contestants stayed in a mansion but the twist was the winning team got to live inside and the losing side had to sleep in tents in the garden. Also the winning project manager got to sit beside Trump in the boardroom and advise him over who should be fired and was also automatically the project manager for the next task.

It was quite funny watching the losing team agonise over sleeping outside but overall the changes seemed unnecessary to me, especially making the winning PM continue being PM as it meant other contestants could fade into the background and not all were given an opportunity to lead.

Trump is always great value and the contestants on the US version always seem to have egos the size of planets but for me the UK version is far superior and provides a lot more drama and tension.”

Yeah she could seduce me anyday

As for the US version, i don't like the sound of the PM automatically being PM again either, as you say it means more people will be pushed to the back but also it means more chance of that 1 contestant losing next time as PM and being fired.

I feel everyone should get a go at least once

Be warned, this article (which I hasten to add I found by chance while browsing for a different news story) contains the photos - argh, my eyes!!!:

and I think they look staged too.

Just imagine if Katie had never been in this years show, how much more boring would it be?

You all love her really!

I'm afraid if that's true then I go from disliking her to despising her.

That is stunningly brilliant - the BBC really ought to show it on her leaving show.
