Very fair and balanced appraisal!

Wondering what else Lee could have done with that song other than offer it up with a half pund of cheddar!

Also a fair balanced review for Ben. I wonder how the others would have handled that song

they couldn't have done it much worse! ben cannot sing ballads, he has failed at every one hes tried.

Thanks Phil. I really like these reviews.

I'm glad to see that it gives Lewis the credit I thought he deserved and didn't get from the panel.

It's not as if he can only sing upbeat songs, he did He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother nigh on faultlessly, and I recall him doing Bridge Over Troubled Water well too.

Also, if you listen to the first minute of Crying it's very good, it's only when the high notes come in that it goes wrong, and he does not need to be able to sing those notes to be Joseph (and he didn't pull a massive "oops!" face when he cocked up like Antony did in Patience).

But I will concede that All By Myself was terrible.
