Erm -- my response to this thread - louison
Firstly - All 4 Joesphs had a chance to sing with Josh Groban but HE CHOSE Lee. There was no favouritism. Secondly - Keith gets just as much "push" as Lee. Thirdly - ALW has already saved Lewis twice from the sing off, what more do you want for him? Fourthly - voting for people you dont even like, just to get the talented one out of the running is eally pathetic in my opinion. If Lee wins he will win because hes the best, just like if any of the others win. NONE of them should win because a few disgruntled Daniel / Seamus / Chris fans are upset that their favourite got voted off. Fifthly - I dont think the producers have edited Lee in a good light any more than they have the others. I do think Daniels last week wasnt edited that well but otherwise all seem to have been fair to me. And finally, erm - Sixthly?! WHY ON EARTH would people waste money on voting for someone they DESPISE? THAT is just petty and stupid and if anything, is making a mockery out of the show even more. THE END. |

Mentioning 'embittered Daniel fans' prompts me to point out it wasn't YOUR idol whom ALW so gratuitously insulted as he cast him out. One thing to say he didn't see him as Joseph, quite vicious to add he couldn't see folk paying to watch Dan for two hours on a West End stage....many of us'd listen to him for HOURS ON END.

Ooo you are brave!!
. Be prepared to run for your dear life when the Lee fans see this thread!! I know how protective we are of Daniel and i'm sure they are the same!!There have been subtle suggestions from the start, even before the live shows started, that this series was nothing more than a vehicle for Lee. From the over exposure during the audition shows, to the being given the better songs and most favourable editing, to the getting rid of any major competition at the first opportunity. Last night it just became ridiculously blatant. I can't remember seeing such transparent pimping of a contestant since Alex Parks in FA2. |

Fortunately I also liked Daniel as well, but again was gutted when he left and i still think he deserves to be in the show. However, im very fickle and also like Lee. I was honestly shocked and very angry by ALWs comments to Daniel and thought they were totally out of order. But i also think Daniel is good enough to go onto bigger and better things. |
