Talented as Lee is, he is far from the most talented. For whatever reason or other (complacency, poor song choice, "vote for the worst", etc) far more talented contestants than Lee have already been eliminated.

Well that's just three of those who were better than Lee.
As for their fans being "disgruntled", far from it. As a Daniel fan, in hindsight I'm not at all disappointed that he was eliminated. Though perhaps I'd have liked him to have stayed in a bit longer, I didn't want him to win.

Daniel's second week was equally unfavourably edited (as was Seamus' every week). His last week was practically not worth dignifying with a comment.

Telly, no-one was picking on Daniel - just seemed to be a suggestion that Lee shouldn't be on the show, because Daniel isn't any more
Of course you can't keep a good man down (whorr! Whorr! No double entendre intended, honest!) and Daniel will go on to great things but it will not be thanks to ALW's thoughtless remarks which his fans won't readily forget. At least he made a half hearted attempt at an apology yesterday, by mentioning his own daughter's ire at his treatment of gorgeous Dan.
I'm not mean enough to deny Lee has loads of talent but he don't light up the room for me as Daniel does. And to deny Dan is brimful of talent is just mean.
