I'm a fan of Rob as well, but the way he looks at the mo, he'd be more suited to Jacob! (Sorry Mr Williams!)
And if this a request thread, yes please can we have a Lee show, again with Daniel as the guest star each week (rather like Elaine Page used to do on The Two Ronnies!)

On the one hand, ALW clearly accepts Lee is very talented, but on the other there is his oft-declared preference for a younger Joseph. He may end up with Lee, either because of the audience's vote or else himself chickening out at the last minute, but I think he would prefer not to - ideally he would probably like Keith's voice in Lewis's body! I rather suspect he regrets some of his early decisions, sacrificing the two Chrises and even Anthony, who with a bit more of this rather random 'nurturing' he keeps talking about, might still be contenders.

I can't believe how these threads keep popping up about Lee..usually on the attack ..well I hope with the public vote ..WHICH IT WILL BE

I agree that given Lee's past history as a professional actor he shouldn't win. ALW keeps saying that this show is to find new talent. Lee is not new! I really do think that ALW is rooting for Lewis or Ben. They are young (which is what he wants) and they can be molded. It's one of those two for the part of Joseph!

I know Lee has been in the business for several years but he has only been known in theatre circles. So until this show, Lee has been an unknown to the general public. For that reason I see him as new talent.
His years of experience really shouldn't count against him - especially as he is heaps better than the remaining contestants.

Don't think we will ever see a TV Show like that again on UK TV and who knows if we ever did it may be "The DANIEL BOYS Show" Leading Man of The West End Theatre - we can dream! about the tV Show not DANIEL being a STAR!

well said ..To me he is a new talent..and to many others ..I liked him because quite simply he is good
I'd like to know though what ALW has in mind choreography wise for the new style Joseph show. If it is Timberlake/Jacksonesque stylee, then Lee would surely have a formidable opponent in Ben ?
The fact that he has dismissed imo all the possible Timberlake/Jackson style performers bar one, makes me think this is not all cut and dry for Lee yet. ALW obviously has in mind a young, energetic Joseph and I'm thinking that the dancing and 'charisma' that he keeps talking about, could be a major factor? He isn't saving the goliath singers so far.

The others are hardly boys who have walked in off the street! They are all trained in one way or another.
