When dialling an 0845 number , as its a local rate number , does that qualify as free during my 'free time' period ie evenings and weekends ?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think so, free calls are only to numbers that start 01 or 02 (or 0800).

Check out www.saynoto0870.com for equivalent 01/02 numbers of 0845/0870 numbers.

No it's not... it's a lo-call rate (local +1).

Sky charges more for 084/087 calls (what used to be BT's un-discounted rate) so it's best to prefix any 084/087 calls with the CPS override code 1280 to send them via BT.

BTW, there have been no such things as 'local' and 'national' calls since 1/7/2004 - when BT abolished the differentiation and started charging the same for all calls to UK 01/02 numbers regardless of the point of origin.
