Would love to see Lee win by a mile, however i already have my tickets so to me its still going to be nice day out who ever wins.

I dont just buy tickets because the lead is attractive, if he is then its a bonus!

I would pay to see Lee or Ben.

Saying that I think I would enjoy the performance of all four Josephs that are left.

Lee and only Lee. Don't think I could sit and watch someone else as I would be thinking..... oh I would have loved to see Lee do that bit or I want to hear Lee sing that song !

I don't see how its petty. Like i've already said earlier in this thread it costs me a fortune to pay for tickets and travel down to London with an overnight stay and i would only be prepared to do it if it was someone i really really wanted to see. In my case it happens to be Lee.

I'm very glad some people can afford to go and see the show whoever wins - i'm not one of them and resent that that apparantly makes me "petty"

I'm the same. I live in South Wales and it is going to cost me a lot to get to London. So if i'm going to be paying so much. I would like to know that it be someone who I wanted to see. If that makes me petty so be it.

I don't see why it makes you petty - i go to the theatre often, but i wouldn't want to see a show if the lead wasn't talented! simply becuase the show isn't gonna be too good if the lead role is played by someone not up to standard.

I'm in complete agreement with Bobbla.
I also have to travel a long distance and stay overnight to see a show in the west end, something I'm only willing to do to see someone i really want to see. If i just want to see the show i wait until it tours and see it at my nearest theatre.

I didn't say that it made me petty. I meant that if people want to label me petty just because of my views they can go ahead.

Sometimes they don't work Cleo. You can always just type them in manually when it happens.

Then why book tickets before the Winner is known? - that has been the problem with a few who have felt that it was a certainty who would be in the final and who would WIN! - as of this afternoon that is no longer the case for definite!

If in the end you don 't want to go, sell your tickets, their will be hundreds more who would like to go

Some posters don't think this is a fit topic for discussion

Some posters think 'if you have to ask?'

They're all lesbians!

Seriously though, there's another thread all about this if you look back a bit.

I agree.

As far as this musical is concerned, I would have to hear the remaining ones sing something from the show.

I would pay to see and hear Daniel sing the Yellow Pages. What a voice!

Quite right too. I judge people as people not their orientations.

Back to the main subject, I'd only pay to see Lee as Joseph. Not because I'm petty, but because there are so many good shows in London that I'd rather pay for something completely different if he doesn't win. I'm in London on the 13th/14th July, the 14th is spoken for (going to see how well Michael Ball does in "Kismet") but the Friday night is free at the moment. As someone on my own, I usually manage to get a ticket somewhere in the theatre, so I'm hedging my bets and not booking till the actual day.

Hi, sorry - have I missed something? Just logged on - what happened this afternoon?

I have bought tix and will sit through all of them, except Ben. Tickets will be sold back if he wins. My life is worth too much to sit through that! (kids have been warned that a win from him will mean going to Lion King). Hoping for Lee but could get thru Lewis and Keith as well.

Would pay to see Seamus.

I think he might be referring to Zoe on Loose Women?! Her comments seem to have muddied the waters!

As for gay Josephs, it matters not a hoot but if you happen to fancy any of them it'd be fun to find out!! Was there really a thread devoted to this ? If so I must find it, having lost my heart immediately I saw him to Daniel!! I agree- he could make the Yellow Pages sound soaringly beautiful.
