I'm definitely looking forward to the grilling they all get next week by SA's 3 interviewers. This is by far the most interesting week for me since you get to see what they're really about!

My bet is that Tre (if he's there) will end up floundering in the interviews, that Lohit (again, assuming he's there) won't come over strong enough, that Katie's charms and stares won't work on the 3 interviewers.

I watched this task last year and thought it was good was it in serris 1 if so is it always the same people who do the interviews

I have no idea. I didn't watch series 1, but, I suppose he'll have the same people as last year. *shrugs*

Katie looks bad in the interviews. Done no homework on Sir Alan or Amstrad

saying she's on 90k isn't going to help either - if you're on that already why would you change jobs and industries for 10k extra?

Problem is that interviews are subjective, interviewers don't agree unless its a complete idiot like Paul and SAS can do what he wants anyway.

My guess is Katie will frighten them, Kristina should do well because it won't reveal her weaknesses, they may like Tre or not and Lohit and Simon are polished enough for people not to realise they are mediocre.

Well, 3 are going next week.... it's gonna be a tough call.

Tre looks like he's not going down well with one of the interviewers.

Lohit looks like a rabbit in the headlights.

Kristina should fare well.

Katie..... well, I hope she messes up, but i agree thenetworkbabe, i think she will frighten them.

Simon.... if he's anything like tonight, he's a goner.

3 to go.... could it be the 3 boys? :S yikes that would be K&K to stay. They'd kill each other.

Shows you are in it for the experience and want the job. Michelle made the point last year that she was on more than 100k.

The question is whats wrong when people who in Katie's terms wouldn't be highflyers intellectually are all making 100k a year.

I always think this is an odd place for the interviews and it should be these type of people interviewing them before they go on the show...

Ah but then we don't have the fun of watching them squirm when the truth comes out in interview.

Katies 90K She earns very good money as a horse impersonator

Quite so. It's an artificial stage invented to allow the removal of unliked candidates who may have done well on tasks and thus avoided an earlier chop. Or candidates who should have been chopped but have been kept cos they are 'good telly'.

Of course. And if it were really about finding a great apprentice for Sir Alan these interviews would be before the show. 10 weeks and then an interview to reveal that some of them are not who they say they are

I love the interview bit! A lot of the people last year got found out which was great viewing! Yes, interviews are subjective, but if these people are half as good as they say they are they should be able to turn the experience into quite a positive one.

Hmm, is going to be interesting. Will Katie lower her eyes at the interviewers if they are male? Simon will come across as boisterous and uncontrolled (how I see him). Tre may come across as passionate and uncontrolled... Lohit will be articulate and stand up for himself, so I think he would probably get quite good feedback... no idea about Kristina, when she's good she's good, but then sometimes she is just mediocre... I just don't know!!

I love the interview stage, always really interesting. My predictions are.......

Simon will do a Paul from last year and come apart here, he doesn't react that well under pressure as shown last night, so he's gone.

Tre will go as well, the bullishness and argumentative side will see him go.

Not sure about the other three, although Kristina would be my bet to definately make it. If Katie's challenged she may start loosing her temper again, and Lohit could well be deemed too nice.

I want it to be Kristina v Lohit, as I think they're the two best left, although Kristina v Katie would be quite delicious to watch *inset evil grinning smilie*

I think Simon will still survive. I think Tre will come apart here and Katie might as well. The difficulty I have is imagining how Lohit will fair.

I have a horrible feeling that Katie will do well on this. I agree that I think Simon will fall apart. I think Kristina will do well as will Tre. Lohit might keep his cool and I think he's likeable.
I'm disappointed that we are now at the interview stage and there are multiple firings. I was so looking forward to Katie facing the baying audience on You're Fired and answering for her duplicity and snobbery. If there are three people to interview, then there won't be the time. The other scenario is that she gets to the final!

I'm surprised that everyone thinks Kristina will do well. She is very sure of herself, and the interviewers every year seem to hate that! They generally rip them all to shreds anyway, btu I reckon they will let rip on Kristina, that she is not a team player, believes in herself too much and wouldn't do as she's told!

Simon will go on account of being duplicitious and having done sweet FA in life so far.

If I remember rightly all the interviewers were male, which might mean SAS is missing a trick.
But I hope Katie will be exposed for the fame seeking wannabe that she so clearly is. Finally people on "You're Fired" have realised that she is promoting an image with her venomous comments. Maybe she thinks she can do Anne Robinson's job on "The Weakest Link !
