Saving my messages
Zack
30-05-2007
I currently have a Samsung E900. My Nokia N95 is turning up tomorrow and i have moved all the pics etc from my samsung to the SD Card and the only thing left on the phone is the messages. It wont let me copy these to a memory card, and the phone won't work when i connect it to the computer (most of the phones internal connections are broken) so i can't try saving them that way. Is there any other way to transfer all my messages onto my new phone because i have some quite important ones i want to keep?

I know its a bit of a long shot but i don't want to delete them then find out their was a way

Thanks
Zack

You should be able to move them to your sim card and then transfer them to your phone that way. Only problem is, the sim card will only hold a maximum of 20 messages at one time so if you have loads of messages, it's gonna be a sloooow process!

Moving text messages is difficult. As suggested, the only way is to move a set at a time to your SIM.

Thanks a lot you 2 i will do that then.

Just looked at my memory status and their are 124/200 messages on the phone and 10/10 on the sim looks like it will take even longer lol, will take the password and stuff off will make it a bit faster then

Thanks
