Sarah Greene was also a presenter on 'Blue Peter' at the same time as Peter Duncan and Simon Groom.

Is Alan really interested in having the best apprentice or does he want to have a hit show? Controversial television does wonders for the ratings. By deliberately chosing Simon over Naomie he wants to be seen as a maverick.

Cannot believe it!

Firing Naomi defies logic. SAS said she picked the wrong product -ok the sticky pad things yes- but the trampoline should have sold.

Simon was awful tonight, he couldn't present, picked rubbish products (though somehow someone bought a couple) and he was terrible with the producing!

Next weeks looks really good!

She also presented Going Live with Philip Scofield and Gordon the Gofer! Happy days...

Simon is obviously through to the final. That's the only possible explanation for the way he got off so lightly in the boardroom. He was an absolute disaster and should have gone. Hilarious episode, though not as good as the series one Ideal World episode.

SAS has his own logic in this show. Simon is a favoured one for some reason.

I missed BB for this, but no regrets, a house full of women and some screechy girls.

One of my favourite Apprentice episodes ever, if not for business reasons!

Laughed loads, and was glad to see Tre not go at the end thinking he would!

Its obvious that over the weeks that Siralan has made his mind up about people he wants in the last few and it doesn't really matter how you mess up a task.

Tre was saved last week so was going to be saved this and he thinks Simon is better than Naomi..

Simon was clearly at sea in this task but Siralan didn't want
Naomi.

If Katie is one of the 3 to be fired next week she wont get as bad a ride with another two fired candidates with her as she would if she had the show to herself

Anyone who watched this in the first year will probably agree that without doubt, this episode had echoes of the 'Miriam incident'.

Yeah Naomi didnt choose great products, but neither did Simon. The comment by Vanessa Feltz on the wheelchair rang true. Naomi (with little help from Tre and apparantly no direction from Simon) sold the products, Simon didn't (even though he had producers behind him).

Naomi did get over the wheelchair, as shown when she was in the car on the way there.

On the last TV task, Sir Alan fired Miriam as he favoured Paul, only to ditch him on the interview stage the next week (which isnt even a task). Here again, the week before the interview stage, he chooses to keep te people he likes, even though (I have a feeling that he knows that Simon and Tre will fail the interview stage).

Yes Noami, like Miriam made errors, but nothing compared to the others. I think possibly the big failing was that she had only been PM once (a losing one infact) at an early stage, and had not undertaken it a second time.

On a side note, Im glad they changed the rules compared to last time in which those who presented (who ended up being the PMs) had no control over the product selection... which as we all know was what Miriam was fired over, even though the rules prevented her from taking a part in it!

Kristina and Lohit (or possibly Simon) through to the final- I think Tre and Katie will egt wiped out next week when it comes down to business skills and ability rather than TV viewing.

yep, agree with all the above, siralan was just trying to find an excuse to fire Naomi, and that feeble effort was the best he could do.
His agrument that at least Simon picked a decent product was hilarious, as it went totally against what he was saying as he himself watched it, and at least Naomi and Tre managed to sell a couple of them, Simon failed to sell any trampolines.
also surely Nick had told siralan about how totally useless Simon was on the production side of things too, the woman next to him looked seriously worried!

Dont miss the xtra programme on Saturday at 9pm BBC 2 repeated Monday at 11.20 pm

Parents, friends and former bosses as well as Sir Alan's aides Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford, discuss the real people behind the personas that are still left in this years competition

Oh dear, have to echo most of the previous comments and say that the boardroom was completely ridiculous........

Simon should have absolutely been fired. He failed on almost every count.

I had the same thought just as he fired Naomi.

If Simon isnt in the final 2 probably with Kristina I will eat my hat.

That's a bad choice of phrasing given some of the stories that were in the papers last weekend

I still think that Simon is likely to be a gonner in the interview stage at Sir Alan knows it, just as he did with Paul in series 1

Thanks, I may have missed it.

I can find the Monday programme, but not the Saturday one, it says Seven Ages of Rock at 9 pm?

It's hard on Naomi that she got fired for being good enough to sell Simon's useless products whilst when Simon was so crap and didn't sell hers that wasn't a problem.

He should have fired her when she was project manager but tonight it should have been Simon. SAS likes them boys for some reason. I was a bit surprised when he turned on Naomi.

Had to laugh at SAS counting the number of times Kristina said OK and they said it a few times on the board room along with a few ya's. Also Simon said at one point I went "out on a limb for the wheelchair."

I had great faith in Kristina winning this until tonight's fiasco. That was the first occasion she really blew it big time, but very fortunately for her, her team won. I'm not so sure now. But overall she still has the best record and attitude.
