I love the way they both seem to exist in a parallel world to the rest of the house and don't feel the need to be at the centre of events. As long as the other girls don't find them threatening then they should be OK. Just nice to see two girls enjoying the experience as it was meant to be without succombing to the cattiness and the blatant need for post show deals.

It's even better with the timing, plus changes in voice and facial expressions that only a video can show us. (Hint, hint to any youtubers.)

I liken this thread to a fairground on a sunny day where there is an abundance of pink candyfloss. That's a compliment btw.

The chickpeas/weightloss thing last night was funny. Myself and my partner were doing a double act ourselves by looking at the twins then looking at each other looking at the twins again then looking at each other again only to finally end up cracking up.

They are both so lucky because they are in their together and always have someone they can turn to and on their side, thats why they arent as paranoid or miserable as anyone else but I dont think they see that yet.”

Yes, yes yes and yes.

Not sure about the mixing better bit, I must look out for that...

If nobody puts it up on YouTube I'll do it later today.

I'm sure they did a similar ending to one of their DR visits earlier in the series, does anyone know which HL show it was on? Then I could dig it out and put that one up, too.

I haven't noticed a difference there yet. But both seem to mix pretty well, and they're often together.

...

Could anyone work out which twin they said was "better" about a whole list of things they other day when they were chatting in the garden after exercising with Nicky?

I couldn't follow that part, but I'm pretty sure they said (slightly later in the same conversation) that Sam was good at Maths, Amanda at English.

Also, whichever one was having second thoughts about fashion design because she couldn't draw was reassured (by __?) that they could work as a team: she could have ideas, the other could draw.

I hope the 2 new guys pick the twins to nominate with them , that would be interesting , and it would up their profile quite a bit .

sam said amanda was good at everything, so nikki told them to go into fashion together, so amanda can do the drawings and sam can give the ideas.

Some other things about the twins I'm not sure have been mentioned.

* Carole has said at least twice by now that they're smart.

* In the same Friday morning live when the twins were exercising with Nicky, there was an interesting talk about the twins between Ziggy and Carole. Ziggy said that, even though the twins spent a lot of time with mirrors, they never seemed vein. Carole agreed and (I think this was also Carole) mentioned that much of it was working out dance routines etc and that they were always very attentive when you talked with them.

* Though they have a rep for just jumping about and not having conversations (thanks to the "highlights" ), it's not true. For example, they had a long chat with Chanelle Thursday(?) in which they and Chanelle exchanged stories about various incidents in their lives (as you do when getting to know someone).

Someone mentioned somewhere that they knew more about that twins than about most other HMs, and that's true for me as well. There was the talk about which one was best at Maths or English etc mentioned above, where they also talked about fashion and other interests. I know what they study at university (I don't for Chanelle), that they want to go back after BB (after maybe a year off), that they like the case studies they learn about but find social policy boring.

* They out-acted Emily when playing charades.

* Someone mentioned somewhere that the twins were important for Chanelle's state of mind in the house, and I agree. There's the conversation I mentioned above, times they've played around together in the garden. But I think it's also true for Nicky (for instance exercising and running around with her in the garden Friday) and some of the others. I think that having these upbeat, positive, vivacious, and helpful young women around has made BB life easier for both Lesley and Carole, for example.

In fact, the twins tick a lot of the old-fashioned "good housemate" boxes: they're enjoying the BB experience; they pitch in with chores and haven't complained; they haven't been bitchy or two-faced; they haven't formed or joined a clique or gang but instead get along and interact with everyone, young or old; they're entertaining (easily the most - and LOL-inducing HMs in BB8); they think of things to do and keep other HMs from just lazing in the sun; they listen to others rather than talking over them or imposing their views; they don't go on about what BB might do for them; and their talk isn't confined to BB and popular culture (though of course they do talk about clothes, makeup etc).

They probably will eventually show that they aren't always only sweetness and light, but I don't think it's possible to seem so upbeat, energetic and nice, for this long, without really being upbeat, energetic and nice.

They are appealling to the basic maternal/paternal instincts I think. I just don't see how anyone in there can nominate them justifiably at the moment.

I spotted the part about themselves in another thread, where for some reason the "introduce ya'self" had been heard as something completely different. I'll go look for it than edit this.

It's not only the twins that do versions for other people by now. At least Ziggy and Chanelle have also taken it up.

... *mouse, mouse* ...

It's from Why do they always cut off the twins song?, posted by Lozzie_2005, "introduce yourself" was heard as "and she's so", and here it is, corrected:
Quote:
“The one they made for Emily:

'hey Emily,
hey what?
introduce yourself
no way
introduce yourself
ok
I'm Emily
I'm hot
I'm everything you're not'

Amanda version:

'hey Amanda,
hey what?
introduce yourself
no way
introduce yourself
ok
I'm Amanda
loves pink
I'm gorgeous don't you think?'

Sam version:

'hey Sam,
hey what?
introduce yourself
no way
introduce yourself
ok
I'm Sam
I'm sweet
the guys think I'm a treat'”

Anyone have any of the other variations?

BTW, it's based on the version in the film Bring it on: All or Nothing aka Bring it on III.

That's a great post Veri.

I think your are right about Chanelle. She is very taken with them. Everytime I see them altogether, she always seem to be in stitches at what they've said.

The night that they played charades was great to watch. I think Chanelle couldn't even concentrate for laughing at their antics.

They are making BB for me this year, as I'm finding it difficult to find many of them that likeable from day to day.

But one thing I've noticed about the twins is that they bring the best out of their fellow hms (or the worst depending if there are any jealousies in there). I noticed this slightly with both Charley and Emily, but on the whole I think they are very well liked and respected in there.

Absa-pinkin-lutely

It's an on-Show thread... no campaigning, no sniping at other HMs, no slating BB, the only race issue is how funny the Twins would be doing a three-legged race, no excessive linkages, no rolly-poly-eyes, no argie bargies, not even in-depth analysis of detraction...

The Twins agenda of fluffy escapist and fun BB... has actually contaminated some of us on here...

'hey SWW,
hey what?

no way
introduce yourself
ok
I'm SWW
I'm pro Pink
I'm every everythink! (cheers Bonnie )

Ah .
well if the song is based on a copyrighted song then I guess that explains why it's dipped in the LF .

I've never heard them swear , in fact I think they said that they don't swear . but they're not prudish , I see them joning in most convos , their distatse is merely expressed by saying "Eww! no way!" or similar.
