That is GREAT news! I'm absolutely ecstatic here! I know they still might not win, but I hope they get top 3.
I don't think I've ever seen any housemates as ecstatic as the twins are tonight - never mind HMs up fpr eviction!!!
They have been pleading for a this since before week 2, I remember Amanda coming out of the DR nearly in tears one night when BB refused to confirm if they were one or two... and now she's got her wish... both of them have!

Everyone who dislikes the twins, everyone who prefers other HMs and sees the twins as a threat, everyone who thinks the twins have had an unfair advantage, everyone who thinks turning them into one has somehow cheated the public, and so on, will all see this as the chance to get the twins out.
If Amy's up, everyone who sees her as some kind of anti-Endemol HM will join in.
It could get very nasty, and I would not be at all surprised if the twins were evicted.
So happy the twins are now one housemate! I really couldn't see them winning if they split the vote and one of them winning while the other watched would be unfair.

I think this is great news for them, and they are happy about it. Hopefully when they are still sitting in the house late next Friday night they might realise they have some popularity outside! Let them hear their cheers when Davina says their names!

Absolutely not. The twins have been starved of exposure on BB for weeks now and this week, they are going to be front page news every day and on the HL show every day
BB cannot edit against them because they never do anything bad to edit in... possibly for the first time ever on BB.
The twins are safe this week unless Brian is up - and the betting odds reflect this already. They are both in at 8s at Betfair now, everyone else but Brian has drifted bigtime (they are 2nd favourites). Even the rock solid Brian's odds have started to drift... out from 1.5 to 1.6 so far. Tomrrow will be very interesting in the betting markets!

I don't think the story on the C4 site is absolutely clear, but it sounds like at least one of the twins was going to be up this week anyway:

Without this twist, it's very unlikely that the twins would be up this week at all; so that already makes me wonder what BB's up to.
BB presumably has some idea of who else will be up this week, or will arrange it via some twist(s), and has some view on whether the twins should go or stay. BB's intentions will presumably become clear(er) once we know who else is up.
It's possible that BB is just using the twins to make this week more exciting -- to provide a one-week story -- and either doesn't care whether they stay, or else actually wants them to go. Perhaps this is why the twins were selected: to provide this one-week story; and then on to the real contest (from BB's point of view).
I hope you're right, of course, but for now I am very uneasy about this.

BB may be fixing it for Carole to survive till the final. She is now much more likely to escape nomination.
But, there combined support is huge and at least spares us a boring final where Brian cakewalks to victory.

Have to disagree with most on here - this is an absolute disaster for both Sam & Amanda
From a position of strength as two popular hms they are now in an extremely precarious position and almost certainties to go this week purely to keep Carole in the house
I can understand the two of them being happy because they have no idea just how popular they are - they haven't played 'the game' , they haven't colluded over nominations , they have simply had fun and are being punished for this.
From the story Veri linked to it sounds as if they were going to be put up for eviction by BB this week no matter who the other hms decided to nominate
Everything they have done as individuals over the last two months , all the moral support Sam has given to others , all the fun , all the effort in tasks , Amanda's swimming and 'hot dog' has now been wiped , has all been for nothing.
Purely to save the most vicious nasty bully ever on British TV , two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet have been stabbed in the back

Amanda asked a good question re clouds, and I don't think Liam answered it correctly. (He said something about an optical illusion, but a lot was sound-cut.)

Happens all the time - as soon as Sam or Amanda have a conversation the sound dips come in. It may be that sometimes they are talking about the outside world or subjects which can't be broadcast but on occasions such as this I'm quite sure it's because they are showing a level of insight and intelligence that the script doesn't allow for

One problem is that we don't actually know what they're saying. Maybe some of it is things that would make them be disliked if it were heard. Also, when they show intelligence, or knowledge in some area, or insight into BB, some people start thinking they have a gameplan or are faking their ignorance at other times.
Anyway, I think the twins are among the most logical thinkers in there, and I like hearing their take on things.
I can't believe it. Earlier in the afternoon the twins were discussing that they were put up for noms because the public hated them. They are very wrong indeed and can you imagine how happy they would be if they got cheers on Friday.
I hope they stay to the final week because they are the only reason i keep watching.

I'm concerned about who they are up against next week. Lets hope it is someone like Amy or Carole, they are the only reason I still watch .

I've explained it elsewhere, I don't think this is really the place to give any ammunition to those who haven't been 'twinnified'
Suffice to say , Sam and/or Amanda fans cannot afford the slightest complacency against any opposition this week and even then I don't think we have enough strength in depth to defeat the combined forces of 'evil'
