The repercussions of last night's 'bed with Zig' routine remain to be seen. She'll have rubbed up a few the wrong way (of varying ages) not just Emily.

Channelle by arguing with Emily last night may have damaged her as far as the house goes.

Whether she is right or wrong about the argument,she at the moment is the only female receiving male attention.The others will resent this deep down and will use this argument as a way pick her off when the time comes.

Yeah she lost some points in my book by the way she handled herself in the argument last night. I don't know who was right and who was wrong and quite frankly hair-straighteners are not that important are they? But yeah I think Chanelle could have approached that better.

It wasn't about the straighteners....it was a lot more complicated than that, the straighteners were just the catalyst that brought frustrations and emotions to a head IMO.

Emily, although having said that Ziggy is not her type, really wants to be his type, and she's not, Channelle is.

Some of the things she said about Channellle to Charley and Shabnam were very telling 'she's an uneducated bitch (was this because of Channnelle's northern accent?), she's a slut (because Ziggy fancies her?), she's boring and only came in here for some tv coverage.

IMO Emily is at a loss as to why Ziggy would prefer a VB wannabe look-a-like with a northern accent, to a Peaches Geldof look-a-like with a posh accent.

Not that Emily would 'go there' just that she wants to be first on the list with the option....and she's not.

Channelle is fine, I'm liking her a lot, she'll have to do a lot more than have a girlie spat with Emily to go down in my estimation.

i think what will be damaging is when chanelle is in the diary room after the arguement reliving the whole episode (actions and all) bb will show a cut too to emily out in the smokers bench with tracey saying how chanelle has now gone to run to bb with the whole evenings events. bb will make out chanelle is shallow. i can see this turning into the ash/nikki forum from last year only with chanelle/emily. at least i can still say im on the better persons side like last year (nikki last year, chanelle this )

I still like her, but I have to say that if this thing with Ziggy turns into some BB romance I'm going to be bored shitless by it.

I found her more watchable and interesting when she wasn't hooked up with Ziggy if I'm really honest.

I don't know, I think it's because she appeared to show a bit of vulnerability before. Now with Ziggy she's risen in status and is probably going to be more complacent and cocksure of her status in the house.

I'm disappointed with her hooking up with Ziggy. She can do what she wants but it's just something that makes her lose a little bit of appeal with me.

I'm more interested in her relationship with Nicky than I am with her thing with Ziggy.

I think thats just Emily's charcater though. She is loud and outspoken. Its doesn't mean you can swear at them like she did. I actually think Lesley stirred the pot to Chanelle about Emily. I think Emily doesn't fancy Ziggy but wants male attention - she did say "I have to look at him because hes the only man". Shes honest in what she says.

The argument was bad for Chanelle but sleeping in the same bed as Ziggy was a terrible mistake. She needs a lot of luck now to avoid leaving the house as a hate figure.

I don't know if it's only me with this take on the row, but I instantly saw it as being fired up by Chanelle's obsession with Victoria Beckham.

In fact I don't understand why anybody else doesn't feel this.

We saw her in the Diary Room obsessing over her hair to BB when asking about the hair dryers.
I think some people seriously underestimate this obsession with Victoria Beckham. I suspect that it may even be bordering on some kind of minor mental illness. (or even major for all I know).

So when the argument kicked off the first thing that instantly sprang to mind for me was the earlier obsession Chanelle had displayed about her hair in the Diary Room on the HL show, and her obsession to look like VB.
When it comes to VB Chanelle is seriously nuts about that subject. So if it came to somebody getting in her way and depriving her of anything Victoria Beckham related that is extremely important to her then OBVIOUSLY I'd expect her to to go seriously apeshit and really kick off.


It's an argument, it's one of those things. I don't really see this one as who's right and who's wrong. I see both of them contributing to it. Emily shouldn't have been winding her up in the first place and being awkward to Chanelle just for the sake of it, and Chanelle's vanity was shown to make her overreact.

For whatever reasons I like Chanelle, I do recognise that her vanity due to her VB obsession is probably a major thing to her, and I would not be surprised to see her obsession make her behave badly in some circumstances.
As I've said, I think it's arguably her major flaw and could provide future problems later. It's not just vanity, I think it's much stronger than that because of her VB thing. She was seriously obsessing over her hair to BB in the Diary Room. It struck me how important Victoria Beckham really may be to her.

I don't really hold it against her in that I see her as a bad person, I just see it as a major flaw which can unhealthily impact on her character. I don't know if it really is a mental illness, but I see it as something which possibly seriously affects her in a negative way.

Personality wise I think she has a fantastic personality and I think that she is a genuinely good person, especially compared to other housemates. But her vanity revolving around Victoria Beckham is probably a very bad thing, which may not be her fault, but it could possibly impact on other people in a negative way.

Personally the last thing I'd want to do is to get between her and anything to do with her making herself up to look like Victoria Beckham.
It would be just asking for trouble.

She simply asked for a hair dryer as she wanted to blow dry her hair but add volume, otherwise it lay flat. I get that, she didn’t kick off when Big brother said no, so you shouldn’t really make more of that than what is it. Also, implying she has a “mental illness” due to her obsession with VB. Its not an illness and its not a bad “flaw” in her character. So what? she admires VB and her style, lots of women do and lots of women had their hair cut like VB….stop trying to make out Chanelle is ill through it.
