Early days still, but so far I´ve taken to Nicky more than the others.

Unfortunately I think Nicky is just too nice to avoid the "boring" tag that all kind women get on this show.

However, I hope she lasts a while.

She also has an unfortunate way of looking moody even when she isn't! Which doesn't help the boring/whining tag

I don´t find her boring - shes quite self-assured and confident and has more interesting things to say than the others in there,...she has her vulnerabilities too of course - to me, shes more normal than the rest, but I think there is more to her that we´ve still to see.

But I see what you mean..... shes not stupid, shes not got her boobs out, she doesn´t seem like a bitch and she doesn´t rush around screaming, so maybe she will get dubbed as boring

She's not boring. She was one of the main characters tonight, well it was her birthday. I love the fact she hates men and Shabnam was discussing how calm she is when she tells them to "f**k off."

Uh uh...I think Nicky's force of will and desire for order and 'teamwork', will put her in the front-line of some real humdinger arguments.

I think she'll probably get nominations because of that, but could be saved by the public (unless up against a big fave) if they think she picked the right fight. Her stock rose when she put Charley back in her box and was magnanimous when Charley crumbled, but it's cooled slightly since.

BB played a nasty trick taking the piss on her birthday, and then just showing her getting teary and emotional in the DR and the outside toilet.

As Nicky might say, **** the men!

Like i've said in a few other threads, I do have a soft spot for Nicky...partly due to her hatred of men, clearly she's been with a few bad ones, we arent all like that!

She seems genuine and is clear with her morales and doesnt back track or asslick to try and get her own way. I hope she comes out of her shell a bit more as well...

She was superb tonight...again. She took on Laura and showed her up for the greedy pig she is as well as took control of the house. She's a leader. I really like her, she reminds me of Aisleyne a little.

You just know that when the men turn up... she won't be the one 'playing' the games that some of the others will do... she will probably not have a personality and character change that some of the others may do as well.

I agree, she has a strong sense of justice and standing up for what is right.

She reminds me of Ash in a lot of ways too, but she'll have to watch she doesn't come across as being too negative and whiny. I hope she quickly gets over the food thing.

She's my favourite now. I like the way she stands up for what she believes in and is completely honest. Nicky was completely right.

She's definitely my fave. Hope she wins this, I can't help but like her, despite the moans.

i think she's very interesting. My top spot is constantly switching between her and Shabnam. The others i can't stand (excepty maybe gerry)

I am loving Nicky.....but i do think she is making a mistake in putting herself in charge of all food matters and cooking, she will be nominated for it
it would be better for the next shopping if she buys her own food and lets the others starve with their insistance of emptying the firdge at the earlist oppurtunity
she does have a control issue....if she can learn to overcome it she will go far.....mebbe even win it....but its too early to call, not when we haven't gotten the full amount of housemates in yet

Yeah i'm liking Gerry so far......he seems easy going and intelligent.....i'll see how he goes in the next few days......plus it will be interesting to see who he picks to nominate with him

Same here, Shabnam's my favourite right now with Nicky a close second. I like other housemates but not as much.

Big fan of Nicky here, she speaks a lot of sense and provides interesting viewing.

i totally agree, she's one of the only down to earth people in there...and the things she says aren't jaded like other members. i like her sense of humour and i know at times she can seem a little down and depressed, but i think thats better than all this fake chirpiness!

I really hope Nicky will let herself go and start having fun, she seems like a nice person, I want to see more of her personality for definate.

I think that Nicky is great and I admire her for standing up for what she believes in, and not going along with the o thers. I admire her thoughtfulness which the hms don't seem to care about at all.
