The theme tonight was Diane Warren as far as I could tell. She was the guest judge and was completely worthless, IMO. She has written some great songs, though.

This episode STUNK! Everybody was either flat out bad or just ho-hum. Carmen did a good job of redeeming herself, but on her last note she truly sounded like a goat!

I read on a website that the show was bad and that Clay, Kimberley Locke and Ruben were much better than Trenyce, Josh and Carmen. Apparently Diane said nothing useful whatsoever and her songs were not so good as they have already sung all her good ones!

I thought Clay was awesome last night, and I really think he should win the competition. Simon is so wrong about him being a Broadway star and not recording artist material. Clay could easily be a Broadway star, but he would have the number one album if he released a CD.

I thought Ruben's version of "Music of My Heart" was crap because he only sang half the words. They let the backing music sing all the words and he just stood there singing a long, "Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu."

Kim Locke was good too. As far as I'm concerned, I don't care which of the other three contestants get booted in the coming weeks. I used to think Carmen should go every week, but now I'll be happy as long as she's not in the top three.

Kim Locke WAS really good this week. I am looking forward to a showdown between herself, Clay and Ruben. I also enjoyed Clay's interview Monday night. Simon is right, though, he reminds me of Nathan Lane at a very young age. But the songs stunk. Any good ideas about next week's theme?

Well, apart from Kim L. Even Clay failed to make me care. Get Josh out next, America. PLEASE!

I wonder if Kimberley can win.. I really hope she does now

Carmen was better than last week, but yeah she's been out of her depth for a while really..... Josh I thought deserved to leave more IMHO though

Of those left, Clay is pretty good, and Kim L isn't that awful as a big voice diva clone, but she'll never be close to matchng the originals imho.
