Cheap calls to America via mobile
Puffle

Hi

Does anyone know of a company who allow you to make cheap calls to the states from your mobile? I'm with vodaphone and need to call the states quite regularly over the next few weeks so would like to do it from my mobile if I can find a cheap call provider.

Thanks
Clare

Carphoneware sell a world sim? Might be worth checking out...

If it's just a temporary thing, you could use a calling card. They usually have a free access number.

Depends. Many people get a bunch of free landline mins, so might not be a big deal. Calling cards are out there that allow calls to the US for as little as 4p/min. Don't know what those numbers charge, but 4p is certainly pretty good.

I've used a calling card with O2. I have more landline mins than I know what to do with, and the few pence per min I'm charged to call the US is a lot less than what O2 charge. Works out better for me.
