Did everyone hear "Smooth Operators" by Sade being played AS USUAL??

Carene and I were discussing last week how its always being played, and I laughed so much when I heard it last night! Louise was listening to it on the "radio" and so was Ronnie Marsden! lol!

Damn!

I missed it. I wasn't able to see Emmerdale last night, but I wasn't too fussed about it, cos i'm not impressed with the new Louise / Ronnie storyline.

I think Emmerdale really needs to buy in the rights to a few more songs. Even Hillbilly rock, Hillbilly roll, was better than Smooth Operator!!!!!

Finally, I can understand the song being played on an 'out of date' jukebox, but on the radio??? Please!!!
They must have been listening to a "golden year's" show or something! LOL

Hence why I put radio in inverted commas, because it isn't the radio, its the tape they are ALWAYS using!

Also what are the odds of Louise picking that song on the jukebox and at the same time the radio station Ronnie was listing to decided to play that same song.

Oh I did laugh a tiny bit when that came blaring out of that radio. As soon as I heard it I thought of the discussions about it on here, which prompted a few odd looks in my general direction...

She didn't.
She was listening to the radio, which was on top of the bar at the time

Oh, I thought I replied to Drifters post. Anyway, no it wasn't a juke box it was the "radio" on the bar (What I'm saying is that it obviously wasn't the radio, it was the tape they ALWAYS play in Emmerdale!

10.57: The housemates comment on how much they'd love to climb over the wall and see what's going on in the outside world. Gos reckons Ray will have "loads of sexy ladies" waiting for him when he leaves the house "Yes, hundreds queueing up" agrees Steph and the housemates sing Sade's Smooth Operator to Ray.

11.00: Jon, Cameron, Steph, Ray and Gos are chatting and sunbathing in the garden. Cameron says the lyrics to the Sade hit Smooth Operator are flawed "Coast to coast - LA to Chicago? Not exactly coast to coast, is it?" he mutters.
