Maybe its the quality of the production, I don't know, but right from week one of the live shows I have thought of Ben as Danny.

He can sing, act and dance fantastically and can definitely hold the stage.

I think Lee would make a better Joseph (with Ben a close second), but Ben is easily better than Anthony and the other one from 'Grease is absurd'

I can't say if he would be better as I've not watched the Grease competition and that would be unfair on the two guys left. But I do believe Ben would make an excellent Danny and even thought that myself the other day. I'm glad he didn't stick with the Grease auditions, from a purely selfish point of view, because I would never have seen him.

Yes, absolutely. Everytime I look at him these days I think Danny Zucco. He has everything needed for the part, including a slight cockiness (and I say this as a Ben fan ) which would be perfectly in keeping with the role. He is far more suited to Danny than he is to Joseph.

I only watched one of the grease shows at the audition stage and hated it so much have not watched since but you are not the only one that has said he would make a great Danny.

Have to say that I have seen Danny B perform live in a show and for me he stood out above everyone else. Who knows!!!!!!!!!

Yep I've thought from the beginning he would be great for the role of Danny. I love Anthony on GITW but Ben is much better than him imo...

I've seen both since they were live shows (yes I've been sad and recorded Grease - as a favour to the missus)

However, now we are at the semi final stage and the Josephs (even Lewis!!) are looking the finished article, whereas the Danny's seem to be like a week 3 or 4 Joseph.

Grease would be better if:
a) They got rid of David Gest
b) They got rid of Zoe Ball
c) They had a live band
d) They got rid of that awful stage set
e) They had a decent set of vocal and acting coaches
f) They had a set of choreographers who knew how to do a group performance

ADWD - on the other hand - would have been better starting a week earlier, thus avoiding the double eviction that got rid of Seamus and Anthony. Apart from that blip though, its head and shoulders above Grease in terms of quality.

bens good but i dont think he would do better than danny b as danny in grease. hope danny b wins as he is the only guy that has stood out in the whole of the series

Ben's too classy for Grease is the Word I can see why people think he'd be a good danny. He could definitely give John Travolta a run for his money with his dance moves!

Danny B , Lewis and Ben are all students at the Italia Conti school.

I think danny B and Michael are alot better than ben - anthony prob about equal with ben.

omg yes ben as danny ! imo hes hotter than all the danny's left and more talented and better actor which is more important in grease than in joseph as they have to perfect an american accent ben has so much stage presence and draws in the audience focus so yes as danny but glad hes on ADWD grease is the word is an embarrasment!

I think any-one from ADWD would make a better danny than the shoddy people they put on grease is the word even the people that got knocked out in joseph school are probably more talented than grease is the word! BEN AS DANNY YES YES YES !

Ben would be fantastic as Danny - but I've never watched Grease is the Word so can't say if either of the two left could match him.

Well, I don't know about that. I loved Seamus, but I wouldn't cast him as Danny Lewis neither, far too girly.

I dunno I only ever caught two eps of Grease is the word originally I planned to watch both shows ADWD on the Sat then Grease on one of the catch-ups but Grease was shockingly bad so I only watched twice. Tho Ben would play a brilliant Danny.

dancing wise - yes ben is better, singing wise, anthony, although not overly good, is better than ben. but, thats not hard!
