Hideous wallpaper

I know I am going slightly off topic here but it is one thing that really bugs me. Whenever a Joseph is evicted, they have to give an interview in front of that hideous wallpaper - maybe it's not wallpaper, maybe it is just a screen. Either way, it's horrible! Am I on my own here, maybe others think it's nice.

Sometimes during the preview interviews they use, what looks like 1950s silk-screen printed curtains. Who decides this I wonder? They could do with a bit of advice from the Extreme Makeover team I think.

They have some armchairs in M&S covered in a very similar material. Horrible!

I shan't be papering my walls either.

Poor things!! They probably feel bad enough being booted off but making them sit in front of that ..........talk about rubbing salt into their wounds!

I wonder if this is the decor inside the house they are living in? It looks so lovely from the outside !!!

On second thoughts it's probably a room in the bbc1 studios. They haven't updated since the 60s I think. Maybe an evicted Joe will come on and enlighten us? (I won't hold my breath waiting though.........)

Isn't Sixties'flowery, swirly' all the rage again? After Anne maurice vainly trying to educate us Brits on the virtues of 'beige' too!! I prefer pastel myself and all this return to Sixties psychadelic is too nerveshattering...especially as I have to annually go into a Sixties timewarp that is my aunt's and uncle's home to catsit when they're on hols. Brown swirling huge roses and dark orange ceilings are enough to make one throw up!
Clearly the BBc have not deigned to heed Channel5 Ms Maurice!

I like it - it's very fashionable at the moment.

Oh and how old is that piano the boys are often interviewed sitting beside. Looks like it has taken a fair few bashings over the years
