Wyke Farms and Makro - Not happy about the French Selling Episode
Can't say I blame Wyke Farms and Makro for being unhappy.
People from the companies also did the challenge and succeed where the candidates failed. They then said Sir Alan You're Fired! ![]() Link: http://www.24dash.com/showbiz_slapdash/20275.htm |

Obviously Nick was wrong too then. He says he lives there and there's never any british cheese on sale! Nick! You're fired!

I must admit to being a little cross on Makro's behalf at the time, as they do sell some lovely cheese! OK, Paul & co did buy a big, unappetising looking slab of something (which the producers and SirAlan seemed to focus on) but they also would have had a huge selection of more attractive looking English cheeses, in discs or wheels or whatever the technical term is.
Presented better, giving out tastes, they could have sold that - rather than faffing about with the sausages... |

That is an interesting story indeed. Although in the end it was a pretty stupid decision to buy from a cash and carry in the first place for this task.
