Can't say I blame Wyke Farms and Makro for being unhappy.

People from the companies also did the challenge and succeed where the candidates failed.

They then said Sir Alan You're Fired!

Obviously Nick was wrong too then. He says he lives there and there's never any british cheese on sale! Nick! You're fired!

I must admit to being a little cross on Makro's behalf at the time, as they do sell some lovely cheese! OK, Paul & co did buy a big, unappetising looking slab of something (which the producers and SirAlan seemed to focus on) but they also would have had a huge selection of more attractive looking English cheeses, in discs or wheels or whatever the technical term is.

Presented better, giving out tastes, they could have sold that - rather than faffing about with the sausages...

That is an interesting story indeed. Although in the end it was a pretty stupid decision to buy from a cash and carry in the first place for this task.
