Ok so May has now passed but this thread started in May.

It's her triple Aries plus dragon that causes me to join rather than her blonde tresses.The name too.. my favourite.
She's no ordinary lass.
Emilys rarely are..... e.g. Emily Bronte and David Copperfield's Emily.

I bet they don't show her hiding behind the bath with Laura on the highlights.

BB tonight really seems to be slating Emily...she comes across a lot better in the live shows

Bad edit...bad "couch" show for her too...I fear they're trying to turn her into a hate figure to rival Charley.

Atm it seems like they're trying to make Emily into the next hated housemate after Charley goes...if Ziggy nominates Charley this week.

Emily is quite funny in the diary room, and I'm glad she spoke out against name-dropping in the HL show last night

But why do we need another Charley figure? I thought they wanted fun this year and Emily has bundles of it especially when paired with Laura.

Sign me up. She's been my second favourite after Nicky for a while, but after the obvious hatchet job they did on that couch show and the suprisingly negative edit in the highlights I've decided to fully support her.

Like others have said I think BB are building her up to be the next bitch after Charley goes.

Well that's a bit crap now isn't it? I'm not surprised though!

I hope not I really like her so far, I would hate for BB to try and mess up her chances in the house I loved the name dropping thing too, I would have done the same with Charley going on about all the cool people she "knew"

I see the way the wind is blowing...sadly I don't think there's anything she can do now to avoid being labelled a bitch...she's just too forthright. At least she (and her bum) got a bit of appreciation first!

I think its just inevitable that this girl is going to be disliked.

Even on the forum now theres people saying they are waiting for her mask to slip or some other rubbish.

Her problem is that she is strong and self assured, she is intelligent and has confidence in her abilites, in other words she is a natural leader.

But BB audiences don't like confident girls especially when they are young, confidence is interpreted as arrogance, any opinions are seen as bitchy. It's a bit like the Grace effect all over again, except Emily hasn't even made the Grace mistakes yet.

It doesn't help that shes posh or pretty either.

I don't think I've been badged even though I asked on the third page asking to join...

Emily does remind me of Grace, for reasons that follow from what Jocko Homo wrote. Also: slender, blonde, trained in dance etc. Less intense. More "student". Perhaps cast to be a kinder, gentler Grace? Not sure.

But ought to be seen as herself, and not through BB7 lenses, so I'm trying to set such things aside.

I've liked Ems so far. She shows good sense. Can listen. Spirit of fun, a bit mischievous. I at some of the expressions on her face, as in DR Uncut. Looks great wearing glasses.

I fear it's true, though, that she'll be disliked. List of her crimes already being drawn up.
